A few more questions..

I will be going the 22 and 23 (monday and tuesday) but will be getting there Sunday night and leaving wednesday.

How do we get to the Breakers? Seeing that its over by Maggie. We don't have to carry our luggage over the beach do we? lol

We will be staying at the breakers so we are just going to walk to the challenge park for a few hours. I may be trying the rip cord. Is it fun? I would much rather have gone on Vertigo but i'd like to try it anyway.

I've been on MF before but what is the best seat to sit in? I went when it first opened and I forgot.

Thanks!

Once you cross the causeway, go through the far left toll booth, (you will have to pay the parking fee, but it will be refunded once you check into the hotel) you will follow Perimeter Road all the way around the park to the Breakers. The employee at the tooth booth will direct you which way to go.

Have fun!!

Thanks for responding. Thats neat we get to go all around the park. So we'll take that round behind MS? Cool.
Ripcord is a lot of fun. I did it once, scared the heck out of me, but laughed afterwards. My husband's niece dared me to go on, and I thought it would be booked for the day, so I figured I was safe (in it not being available). Ha! Ha! The joke was on me because we were able to get on immediately--this was in 1996--so I had to be brave and look danger in the eye. I did and I survived----and now I still bug my husband that I did Ripcord while he sat and watched! His excuse was that someone had to hold our stuff!!

Any seat on MF is good in my opinion. I'll be at the Point on July 17th and 18th. Enjoy your visit!!

Not to mention you can get in the park at 9 to ride Raptor or MF before everyone else can get in at 10.
Ride in the front seat of the Millenium. It makes the drop look so steep. Have fun! :)

Cedar Point, the cure for the Summertime blues!

Just about any coaster front seat for the visuals.

Back seat on Wicked Twister and Raptor for some intensity!

Ripcord will probably scare you s***less when you're up there (or being hoisted up), but any time after the drop is just fun. When you get off, you have the feeling like you really did something. Honestly, that and PT down are the only rides there that really scare me.

I like Ripcord more than VertiGo. In my oppinion, they should have offered 2 or 3 shots on VertiGo because it was too short, but that's all in the past now.

I always try to get in the second row of the cars on MF because of the tiered seating, I believe you get a better view. Oh, and if you have the time, wait for the front seat. I agree with Fordman, it makes the drop seem steeper, and it's an unbeatable view.

Hope this helps, have fun!

Soak City+70 degrees=fun? Hey, at least I didn't miss 2 opening days!

I agree with everyone, front seat all the way. If you're riding it more than once, the back seat has a few great aspects as well, and not much of a wait either. Get the handstamp for MF too, don't forget!
Thanks so much for the info!
