A few CP questions from a newbie, please help me plan my trip!

1) I go to school in Kansas, and I have a WoF pass that also gets me into CP. Do I need to do anything special to get in with this pass or do I just show it to them at the gate?

2) Should I only run for TTD if I see it testing before they let resort guests in at 9:00?

3) What time should I get to the park if they let resort guests in at 9:00? Do I still need to get there super early?

4) What seat(s) on Magnum will provide maximum airtime?

5) I know no one really knows for sure, but what coasters generally have shorter waits at night, and which in the morning?

6) Will it be worth it to wait for front seats on MF and TTD?

7) What seats provide the smoothest ride on Mantis?

8) Is there a way that someone can just drop me off at CP without paying for parking?

I know it's a lot of questions but thanks so much for any help, I’ve waited so many years and now my CP trip is less than two weeks away!!!!! :) :) :)

1. Go to Guest Services.

2. I'd personally start with Millennium Force.

3. No, you don't need to be there super early.

4. 1-3

5. Most coasters have shorter waits in the morning (exceptions are Raptor, Millennium Force and Dragster). You can do a lot at Cedar Point before noon.

6. Personal preference

7. I guess the front, though I don't think it's a big difference.

8. Yes, but they'll be charged full price and reimbursed on the way out (minus the 50¢ toll).

i use a WoF pass when i go to CP, ive never needed to stop at guest services. when entering the main gate, just show them the pass, they write it down and youre on your way. at the magnum entrance you need to go through the door on the right side of the entrance. everytime ive entered here, ive written the pass number down myself, no one has ever even asked to see it, you just say you have the pass and they point to the paper.

a side note, whenever ive entered through the magnum entrance with a early admission resort slip, they never ask to see that either...

I would go with what Walt said. With getting the front seat on MF and TTD. I'd say go for it, I rode MF front seat in '03 had a two hour wait. Then last year '04 I got on TTD in the front seat. It was a 45 min wait. They were both well worth it. TTD I rode at night, it was so cool and neat to see the park at dark from up there!!! Hope you enjoy your Cp trip Emohnke. :) *** Edited 5/12/2005 3:34:36 AM UTC by daniel smith***

Quote from a Corkscrew ride op, "And Dragster is down again"

with my MA pass I had to go through guest service. They wrote my number down there. Was very quick though.

Your WoF season pass will gain you early entry. If you want to do TTD, show up about 8:30 at the Magnum entrance. There'll be a line, but walk up to the ticket counter and show them your pass so they can write the number down. That way you won't hold up the line when the gates open.

They post a sign in the Breakers lobby as to which rides will be operating early. Just ask someone in line if you don't see TTD testing - they typically substitute Raptor.

I have ridden TTD 3 times before 10:00 am on a Saturday. It all depends on if they can get it running.

For the record, MF is closer to the beach entrance. If TTD is not running, you may want to walk down there.

Hope this helps.

To being an "us" for once - instead of a "them"

1. i really don't know probally guest services.

2. Yes do start with Millennuim Force.

3. If the resort guests get in at 9:00 im usually at the gate and waiting at 8:30(if you are staying at the park.)

4.

5.In the morning I would suggest rides like the Wicked Twister, Magnum, and Mantis(If you do not get in early stay away from Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster and Raptor because the morning is ususally there bussiest times of day.)

in the evening......This is usually the Dragsters least busiest time. The Raptor varies throughout the day and Millennuim Force pretty much always has a long line.

6. I think the front seat is the best to prevent this.

*I hope all this helps!*

I am staying at Breakers Express, and I am getting dropped off. Should I just go in through the main entrance?

It depends on what you are going to ride first.

oh sorry...I will be going for MF first

Marina entranance would be best. Just walk past Pet Check (on the left), look for the entrance there. It's not hard to find...just stay left of the main gate, near the road. Once you enter, head left and you'll be there in no time.

Or have the person driving you in drop you off right at the Marina gate and save yourself some walking.

Yes! Great advice, Rihard!
