The webcam was taken down for technical reasons, but we are hopeful that a better one will be installed.
Different rides shut down differently because of rain, depending on their safety systems. You can bet that all the coasters, including Power Tower and Demon Drop, along with most everything else, shuts down in case of lightning -- steel, you know. Wildcat and Demon Drop shut down fairly quickly because of rain, and if the rain is really monsoon/hurricane type heavy, everything will shut down. For other rides it varies if we're talking just a normal steady rain. Beware of wind, several rides (including Raptor) can shut down if the wind is strong enough or from the right direction.
No, there is no filming or picture taking allowed on any rides, but you're more than welcome to take a camcorder into the park, no problem with that. Kruggie's right about leaving it with a non-rider or in a locker, that's all up to you. From an employee's perspective: if you want to take the camcorder, please don't even bother trying to take it on rides because it won't be allowed. Just make other arrangements for it and you won't spend half the day arguing about it.
And have fun, most of all! :)
