I was just having a bit of fun, hope you didn't take it the wrong way. :) Actually, Michigan has a lot of amazing things going for it. Like more Great Lakes than any other state, the pristine beauty of the U.P., not to mention a better education system than Ohio.
It's just that one of the few things Ohio still leads in (other than smokestack emissions) is roller coasters. We have to find our meager, and increasingly desperate, sense of superiority where we can.

Well, in all harsh reality, that's the state of Mich today. We do have Google and other companies coming in, but nowhere near as many jobs are available as there are residents.
Had we gotten those Honda and Hyundai plants.... MI could very well be back in buisiness. Two major auto manufacturers? That would be huge!! And that would be where we succeed and lead. Ford's closing up a bunch of plants in the area, that's really not helping things.
All I can say for definite is... Something's gotta change.

You forgot to mention that we didn't get stuck with Toledo either. Suckers.
