Well, I finally did it last night around 10:30pm; I now know what CP looks like in the winter. My fiend and I drove out to the Sandusky area to see the park. We came up Chuasee (sp?) Rd. Were the lake was frozen, and hardly any signs of life from any of the houses. When we made the final turn that takes you to the Point, I was both speechless and disappointed. To start, it was snowing at a moderate clip, so our visibility was kind of poor. The parking lot was a vast wasteland of snowdrifts, for as far as the eye can see. The only thing that we were able to see in the park was DT thanks to a small floodlight that was on next to it, and the Space Spiral. We saw faint silhouettes of PT, and Raptor, but that was about it. The disappointment came when I could not see MF clearly. We did see a faint silhouette of the first hill that did give me a sense of how tall it is, but again, the snow falling kept me from seeing it any clearer or the rest of what has been built. To end, it was a very depressing trip. Seeing the Point covered in snow, and the whole park pitch black, except for the flood on DT, makes me want to just wait till May to go back again.
