If you haven’t heard already, Hershey Park is having a contest using RCT 3. They’re having contestants (anybody) design a coaster for the park, rules implying, and whoever wins gets 10,000 for college (among other things).
So I was thinking, wouldn’t it be cool if Cedar Point did something like this. Of course there would have to be rules, like track length, height, speed, area coaster occupies, etc. Even though I know they really wouldn’t do something like this wouldn’t it be cool if they could?
Your thoughts..

It's actually $100,000 for college...definitely a big difference. It sure would help out a poor college student like me.

I was just thinking the same thing to myself the other day about CP doing that, never heard of Hershey doing that thought, where did you hear this at?

Yeah I found out from soaked. The new expansion pack. Right inside he box is a small piece of paper that has the info. Althought it doesent tell like what kind of coaster or anything. I kinda wanna know the details before just registering.
The problem I have is that when I click on the icon on Hersheys website it shows up as an error. I really want to know the exact details.
I want to submit a coaster!!!:(

The RCT company held a contest where you had to design a multi-dimension coaster and if you won you would get a pinball machine.

yeah I still have the slip of paper from that one too. It was for a multi dimension coaster. Winnr got like a trip to a park and like 1,000 runner ups got a rct board game. The winning tracks were avalible for download at there website.
I entered the one for RCT2. I got a board game. I believe it was only the first 100 runner ups, by the way. I was pretty excited.
Coaster Count: 147
