This is courtesy of my dad, who obviously has a sick mind :), and who sent this to me this morning. I'm sad to say that I did fall for it for a second (although I figured it out after that second), even though the details are completely ridiculous and I should know better. Thought I'd share it so everyone can have a good laugh...
::From the web:
Workers testing the new maXair ride at Cedar Point, Ohio, narrowly escaped serious injury yesterday evening when the ride suddenly spun out of control and broke apart, sending metal debris flying throughout the park. Larger metal pieces were thrown several hundred feet, severely damaging other park rides, including Top Thrill Dragster, Millennium Force, and Magnum XL-200, among others.
Park representatives declined to comment about the cause of the failure or the total extent of the damage, other than to say that the park's opening, set for May 7 would be delayed for "weeks, if not months" while all damage is assessed and repairs initiated. Park visitors are advised to check the park's web site, www.cedarpoint.com, for updated information regarding the park's opening.

He also included a photo of some emergency workers pulling someone out of a hole, with a photo quote, but I can't seem to get the picture to post..

Its funny what some people will belive.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Loud and long and clear?

Lol, there was one on www.coaster-net.com about Top Thrill Dragster being converted into a family coaster. It said the height would be reduced to 20 feet and it would launch at 15 mph.
