9th car not planned?!?

I just got a little card in the mail and it wanted to know if I wanted to get a 2000 edition of the BEST FUN GUIDE. It talked about Millennium Force too. I looked more closely at the picture of the cars going down the first hill and there are only 8. Was this a computer animation made before the animators knew there were 9 cars instead of 8?

Seeing as how the dynamics of the entire ride depend on the weight of the train, I'm sure it was planned.

Welcome back Millennium Force riders...We all want to know how was your RIDE!!!!!

It was always 9. It was in the original PR and the animation. I'm sure those four additional riders were a consideration from the start.
