Keep in mind, though, that you aren't starting at a dead stop, either.
You have a point however like I said my GPS does works pretty good. Their is a good chance it is wroung but my point is is that the ride can go faster than 72 mph.

GPS receivers are not that accurate at speed measurements. If you GPS shows 80mph the train can easily be 6mph to 8mph slower. Much of that has to do with the error factor that the government includes with the GPS signal.

The Magnum goes faster becouse it is leaning. why is it leaning becouse it is sinking of course. LOL j/k

I just hope they dont slow it down, I dont they would then they would lose the record =). I'm worried some old mans going to have a heart attack or something and they will brake it like they did to steel phantom, I know an old guy didn't have a heart attack, they did slow it down though, I think it was Steel Phantom. Sorry I'm not that much of a coast techy, just a coaster Junky.
