80's CP TV Ad

I've tried searching old posts for this and I can't come up with an answer. Does anyone remember an old commercial that ran in the early-mid eighties that featured a couple on a ride (with shoulder harnesses) returning to the station with their hair standing straight up and "shocked" looks on their faces. I'm thinking it's the "Cure for the Summertime Blues" promo but I may be wrong. Anyone remember this and if so what ride they were on? Just curious.

I remember hearing that song for Cedar Point advertisements, but thats about all I remember about that.

Though I still remember an old Magnum commercial. :)

IT was the Corkscrew. I remember it well and that was also the song. I belive I was 7 years old and it was like 1983ish..wow funny commercial

I sort of remember the commercial. Could the ride have been Demon Drop instead of Corkscrew? It would make more sense promoting the new ride.

Was that part of the commerical in black and white?
