7/17 down?

Does anyone know why skyhawk only had one swing going this morning and why the lines were cleared out around 3? It seems like CP is have down times because the cable cars dont look to be running either. Why?

Something broke and they needed to get everyone off and out of the way to fix it.

Sky Ride is the most touchy ride in the park. Basically a little bit of wind will shut it down, so that's nothing new.

Skyhawk's right arm (left if you're looking on the webcam) seems to not run every once in a while. I'm happy to see they are at least running the ride with one arm instead of just letting it sit there. New ride's are known to have problems, sort of like growing pains. Some have more problems than others. TTD is a prime example, maXair has quite a few problems as well, but it isn't really talked about.

Downtime isn't a big deal unless it is down more than it is open, then that's where the problems and complaining start coming into play.

If you really want to avoid downtime, just ride Magnum and Raptor all day. Those rides never shut down. *** Edited 7/17/2006 8:01:04 PM UTC by Gomez***

7/17 is up and running. I expect it to stay and up and running for the next seven hours and 45 minutes ... at least here in the East.

Things break. It's not a big deal.
