I had to work night shift last shift last night so I had little sleep but we’re lucky enough to be at Breakers this weekend. The park is busy but food and ride lines are moving along nicely. A tribute to all the folks working here today so those of us off work can have a good time.
In a turn of events and contrary to most reports on the internet all coasters at CP are currently running, but that won’t make the news in Cleveland.
We traveled to CP for many years on the 4th but for several years we have gone elsewhere. So far the park is beautiful the weather is darn near perfect, it’s an awesome time here today. Happy 4th of July to all my fellow Point Buzzers! If anyone else is here this weekend we should try for a meet up at the Grand Pavillion, I’ll buy the first round. For a few folks at least!
Great to read some positivity. And yes, every time Siren's Curse has a minute of downtime it's on the news, broadcast as "MORE TROUBLE FOR CEDAR POINT'S NEW RIDE???"
If I didn't know any better, ABC 5 has turned into...

If you get that reference we can be pals.
Happy 4th. It just dawned on me that on my 48 trips around the sun we have never been to the Point on the 4th.
Promoter of fog.
I saw WKYC post a story about a walk down. Such a non-event. Happens on literally every coaster from time to time. I don't know how Tony can stand his job.

In other breaking news and a continuance of the disastrous season Cedar Point is having there are large crowds today that appear to be having fun. All coasters are operating as of 1:00 PM and both trains are running.
Also, Cedar Point did a great job with the vip fireworks viewing. The snack pack included popcorn, trail mix, starburst, cotton candy, a few glow bracelets, small tube of bubbles, a pinwheel, 20oz drink and a frozen popsicle. The chairs on the beach were in a good spot as well. Sure, some could argue that it wasn’t a good value and that is fine as value is simply a matter of opinion. To me I think it was a great value as we showed up at 940 and didn’t have to fight for a spot or wait hours ahead of time.
Time is the one currency we can't get back so I'd say it was definitely worth it then! Glad to hear it's been a good weekend there. I was there Thursday but had to leave early yesterday morning and it definitely feels like I'm missing out! Not too much I could do though. Family obligations called. Enjoy!
