4 yr old daughters first trip

My daughter is 4 yrs old, she is an avid thrill enthusiast or so i beleive! She has rode rides at the local fairs etc.. To me she shows no fear, this year will mark her first trip to my (and hers i hope) summer getaway spot, for years to come....i cant wait to see the look on her face when she opens her eyes to a brand new world of excitement, and i hope she gets goosebumps the way i did when i first entered one of my favorite places in the world, Cp!

(just wish pop prices were a little lower), lol

You are so right. The sheer joy and excitement that kids have is something to remember. Take lots of pictures!

John you dont know what is in store for you.
My wife and I took our 4 year old last year for the first time and during the Halloweekends.Of course we didnt tell hime where we were going only told him we were getting away for the weekend.
Packed up the van and left on friday evening. We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Sandusky and he was thrilled when he saw that place.
Spent a few hours swimming and playing mini golf in the hotel area.
Woke the family up and headed for the park.He had no idea where we were going until we drove onto the causeway and he saw the coasters. He just started jumping up and screaming and could not wait to get out of the car.
When we got in there he didnt know where to go first so we started in Camp Snoopy (where I can finally say I rode every coaster in the park)and the first ride Woodstock Express. After that it was abit here and there.
Of course I had my 7 year old daughter now who was able to ride the larger coasters (finally). So between her and my son(wife wasnt able to ride that time due to surgery) I was going nuts.
All in all it was the best time I ever had at the park(although I was dying for a ride on Millie and the TTD).
Like Shades said Have fun and take lots and lots of pics-- it will be the time of your life.

I see family's in the park and once in a while there is one screaming kid, saying "no, I don't want to ride that, it's scarey looking." I think, please god, when I have a kid I want a roller coaster buddy.

Have fun!!

My kids are 13 and 14 now, been taking them to the park for 10 years, and I have my 2 coaster buddies. They will both ride anything. One day the line for dragster was like an hour and a half, I said to heck with it and went and rode maggie, but not them, they waited in line for the front and had a blast. They grow up sooooo fast, makes you proud.

First trip June 23rd
