I got that memo. And I also got a memo for a discount for Cedar Point Resort return visitors. I just booked two nights at Breakers June 1-3 for $176. The same room goes for $245 without the discount. No Coastermania this year unfortunately. We decided to opt for the cheaper mid-week stay instead.

I wish I got that resorts email, I have stayed in cedar point resorts the past few years.

Haha actually Adam as I was booking I was thinking about how much I would miss the mini golf tournament this year. It would be hard to top last year's performance though. We would have won it for sure! I hope you get another team together this year and claim that awesome prize.

I've actually decided to scrap the mini golf tournament and enter in the film festival. I figured it's hard to beat a group of elderly enthusiasts that obviously play more golf than all of us combined. ;)

I already have a funny script made(cause I'm THAT professional;)) and a group of friends in film school that are going to help make this as professional as possible. I can't wait to start!! :D

On Walts link page it shows Lighthouse Point as an option but it is not one of the options when you try to make a reservation?

I don't think I have ever seen a discount for Lighthouse Point anywhere.

From what I saw, the discount rates only apply to Breaker's rooms (non-lakeview) and Breakers Express.

I just booked a room at Sand Castle Suites for the week of june 20 using the "RETURN" promo code and it only cost $1063. That's a 40% savings off the normal rate, we have never been able to afford to stay on the point. But that is only $150 more than we normally spend on Cleveland RD. Thanks for the link.
