3 times in 2 days

I just visited Cedar Point for the first time. being from NH, I'm not used to real Coasters...but i got used to them fast! And can you believe this....I actually got to ride the TTD 3 times in 2 days. Sunday night I rode it twice, and Monday once. We felt really lucky to have that opporotunity. It's a great ride!
Tony, thanks for the info. Living in Boston, I am planning a Sept or Oct trip to the Point myself. TTD seems to be becoming more reliable with each passing week.

I also totally understand your *real coaster* comment. It certainly was true prior to RoS at SFNE. I see the Yankee Canonball now (my first coaster) and laugh (it is so small). Back in the day though, it did scare the crap out of me. Being from New England, it may be more accurate to say, going to a *real* amusement park. CP rocks IMO.

Tom

I hope that i get to ride it that many times when I go at the end of August. I'll be there for one starlight night, and then for a full day, getting on just once would be great though!

Can't wait to be at the Point!

Coaster Kid - that's the way to go. The TTD works best at night...I guess it has something to do with thermal Expansion of the track....who knows??? You'll have good luck at night...just remember, even if the line is long, it will move very fast if the TTD is running good!

Thats great Tony. I got to ride TopThrill in front seat twice in 5 minutes :P
This morning I was there.. the first one in in for the day.. it opened around 11:45. I got the front seat and then hopped off and the line was all the way back to the corkscrew loops.. but after only 20 minutes I was in the maze again and all the way up to only the second small maze. it was great.. the maze was not opened up to capacity and the line looked way longer than it was and everyone was walking by saying it was too long.. so I recommend . first ride of the day.. and right back in line.. for a quick #2.. so it was 2.5 hours for it to open. then only 45 minutes for the second ride... 14 now.. Finally in the teens after 16 visits to the park this year.

TTD rides =14
Time spent waiting for those rides= 37.5 hours.

He was probably on a rollback. Only way to explain 2 times in 5 minutes, unless maybe he is an employee.

i rode it 5 times in a day and a half we were walking by while they launched one which rolled back we got in line by the the grandstand and waited like 5 mins tops, then in the morning with early resort entrance rand to it got in line right by the entrance waited like 2 mins, then the others were 1 and a half to hour and 45 minutes with breakdowns
Yea it was a rollback. It only took about 5 minutes to set us back up for the second launch. Very fun travelling at that speed twice in a few minutes.
I rode Dragster twice in 45 minutes... first time waited 1 minute.... *litterally... third train of day* Then got back in line and waited 40 minutes....
