295 lbs too big for most rides?

Ok...so this is a little embarrassing but hey! I was wondering what rides I could ride being 295 lbs, 6'0". I am a football player in college and I have a large stomach and really big muscular thighs.

Last year I was 265 lbs when I went to Cedar Point. I had problems on Millenium Force, but I could still ride. The ride operator had to fasten my seatbelt. I rode Wicked Twister, ( thought I wouldn't be able to fit and was getting out of the seat when....) the ride op came over and said "You will fit" and I was like "are you sure?" he got me in after a few trys. I know that I won't be able to ride Millinium Force, TTD, Wicked Twister, Raptor, Mine Ride, and Power Tower. But what are some rides that a 295 lbs dude can ride? What are the ones that I definetly cannot ride?

My niece is coming with me, she is 4 years old. Are there any rides in Camp Snoopy that I could ride with her. I am pretty sure I can fit in Tilt-A-Whirl, but what else?

It's not so much your weight (though we could assume certain things based on that), but your measurements, namely your waist and chest. The waist measurement will affect rides with lap bars and seat belts, so you'll be out of luck for Millennium Force and Dragster. The chest measurement can be applied to Wicked Twister and Raptor, for which I bet you'll be too big for.

Mine Ride, forget it because of your height and weight combined. That ride isn't friendly to people of average proportions.

In Camp Snoopy, you should be OK on the Tilt-a-Whirl, but I couldn't tell you about the rest.

It all depends on your measurements. Last year I probably weighed close to what you did and I was able to ride Millennium Force but I was unable to ride Wicked Twister. If you had a problem last year as far as Millennium Force goes, you will probably have one this year because you gained weight. However, if you gained it in muscle, you will have to go back to measurements. What is your waist and chest size?

Ohio State, here I come!

My son weighs 325 and is 6'1 ,we were there last sunday and he was able to ride magnum , gemini ,iron dragon ,wildcat ,and demon drop. I had never rode wildcat out of all the times ive been there until last sunday ,but it was really a lot of fun ,we rode it like 5 times being that thier wasnt many rides he could fit into , gemini was a lot of fun too ,and of course magnum is well worth riding several times and the lines are never that long anymore , so all in all we still had a very good time there even though he was limited to few rides. Hope this help's you out a little .And other then tilt a whirl in camp snoopy , I dont believe thier is anything else in there you would be able to ride with her.
Ok If you question your ability to properly ride any ride feel free to go up the exit and try it out the seats the Ride Ops will let you (This is posted on the signs on the Entrance of the rides). As for the rides in Camp Snoopy they are kind of small seated so it is questionable on which ones you may be able to ride I would say Tilt-A-Whirl, possibly Balloon Race, Lolli Swings is a no go there since the chains don't leave much room, Speedway may also be a negative and You may be able to ride Camp Bus. I hope I have been of help and if you have any questions feel free to E-Mail me. I hope you enjoy your visit to Cedar Point.

Well, I am back from my trip to CP and I didn't ride much I had some fun but not as much as I usually do. I really could not fit into most of the rides.

I am not a huge guy. I am mainly muscle and it annoys me that I could not fit into most of the rides. I rode: Tilt a Whirl, PaddleWheel Excursions, CP and LE Railroad, Sky Ride, and Matterhorn.

This is my first year going to CP that I have been this large and it just sucks for large people. Why not make more rides that accomodate large people or have all the shows open.

I didn't understand why they only had the 'Splash' show, Red Garter Show and Palace Theatre Show going. This is the regular season. Why wasn't the Snoopy on Ice show or the Star Struck show going? Why do they start mid June? This makes no sense to me.

I'm around 275 and 6'5" and I fit into everything. Well, every once in a while i have a problem on WT but if I don't eat prior to riding I am fine ;)

I share your problem.... (295# 6') I can ride Millenium with a little effort. I can ride Iron Dragon, Calypso, White Water Landing, Thunder Canyon, Snake River Falls, Sky Ride, Cadillac Cars, Derby Downs, Matterhorn, Carousel, the Train, Gemini, Mean Streak, Monster, Dodge-Em cars, Troika, Big Wheel, Space Spiral, Swan boats, Tilt-a Whirl and Scrambler. I used to be able to ride Cedar Creek Mine Ride. Even after losing some weight over the winter, the new seating is too tight. I've tried and failed the test seats at Raptor and Wicked Twister. I haven't tried Top Thrill yet. My son isn't into the big coasters yet. Hope it helps.
