I would love to know where they got these $25.00 tickets.
I was at the Meijer in Madison Heights and they are $38.99. I've been checking AAA's web site and can't find Cedar Point tickets. I used to always get them from the AAA branch office, but my local branch was closed.
If you can get more info, that would be great.
That is really weird. I am the Head receiver at the Meijer in Roseville. When the tickets came in i had to open and hand count them to make sure that the counts were right. The signage and the tickets were all in one box. The FUN DAY tickets was priced at $25.00, the Ride and Slide was $38.99, and the Geauga Lakes Wild Water Kingdom ticket was $22.99. Unless cedar fair changed the prices that is what they were priced at 2 weeks ago.
As for the AAA tickets my buddies mom said she could get them for $25.00 with her membership card. I don't know how true that is.
But as i stated above, those prices were on the actual Sign. Now Cedar Fair may have made new signs and sent them out recently. Two weeks ago those were the prices....

At ours they had a promotional stand that read "Save $18 off the gate price!", which made sense with the 25.99 one-day tickets. The customer service rep told me it was a limited time offer and the 25.99 tickets were now gone. The stand is now gone as well, and the only tickets available start at 38.99 for one-day admission.
So again, from what I was told (I do not work there), they were available at our local store for a short period of time, and now they are gone.
I was pretty surprised to see 25.99 tickets for Cedar Point.
Promoter of fog.
They just put this up the other day, it works out to $27.50 per day, with the pay once visit twice. Then the mid week saver for $29.99.

That two-day for $55 and that mid-week saver for $30 are pretty decent. Thanks, CP, for giving us some money-saving offers.
Another thing to note is that if you're an Ohio State University student, you can get one-day tickets (good for the regular operating season) to CP through Explore Columbus for $25 each, though I'm sure they're already sold out, as they went on sale yesterday (May 14). Perhaps they will re-stock for later in the summer. Check out www.explorecolumbus.com for details. 2 tickets per BuckID per quarter. My friends picked up a few yesterday right when they went on sale.
