yeah that I got. In reference to the Blog entry though. That was the clue right?

Actually, I believe the entry read "put 2 and 2 together", never said to add them together.

Why does everything they've ever said have to mean something? This isn't LOST.

However, is it too much of a stretch to think they were referring to the 2 launches? That, to me at least, seems obvious if we're to assume it did actually mean something.

Put 2 and 2 together, and you've got way too many enthusiasts reading into things.

If you put two and two together you make a logical connection between two facts. It really has nothing to do with numbers at all. It's a figure of speech.

Well, in their defense, I do believe the phrase was in quotes.

Well, that "doesn't necessarily mean anything" :).

Quite "true" indeed.

LOST! Yay. It starts back up in October. Now all the conspiracists can stop worrying about Project 2007 and concentrate on getting off the island. :)

I figured out what "Going in a whole new direction" means. In a recent interview with Bryan Edwards, this is what he said:

"This is a different ride experience," Edwards said. "We have been building taller and faster, and taller and faster doesn't always equal more fun, according to the guests," Edwards said. "We are going in a different direction. There are people who look at Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster and say, 'No Way.'"

That means that going in a whole new direction means taking a break from breaking records to build a medium sized halfway family-oriented coaster. Don't get me wrong, this coaster looks pretty intense, but pales in comparison to Millennium Force or Top Thrill Dragster.

EDIT:I hate grammar

Arguing with a coaster enthusiast is like wrestling with a pig in mud. After a while, you realize the pig enjoys it.

^ You didn't just figure that out. That's what a lot of us have been saying for the past couple of months, but all the "record heads" still swore it was going to be upside-down 16,000 times with switch-track and backwards vertical dives, all from a height of 3700 feet.

Don't forget that it's supposed to split, too.

2 and 2 means that it has both a hill and launch in the same ride. Thats what i think at least.

^Did T&T really expect us to figure that out? It's just another way of saying "Try to figure out what it is."

^Exactly, it was another way of saying put two and two together, and you get footers, coaster track, low to the ground, western themed signs, hmm... let's see.

2008:Magnum XL-200 | Top Thrill Dragster
2007:Corkscrew | Magnum XL-200 | Maverick

I always thought that you Put WWL Tear Down + New Construction.... whats the outcome? Something NEW of course.

Cedar Point Lifer, RideOp, Now Park Guest
2008 - Mantis/MF/Skyride
2009 - ATL Raptor
2010 - TL Sweeps
2011 & 2012 - Area 3 Rides Supervisor

Wait. People are still trying to guess the answer to the clues even after the announcement?

2007 - Wicked Twister
2008 - Wicked Twister
2009 - (Walt Disney World) Space Mountain/Tomorrowland Speedway

I actually agree with DJ, and Jugga (for once)

You guys are reading to much into this.

2+2 Prolly was refering to the construction that has been going on. You take out one Ride (WWL) + you see footers ( New ride) = Maverick.

We all should use a little common sense............

I love Monkeys! I love Monkeys!

e x i t english is right. It is a figure of speech, nothing more. They just meant put the clues together.
