Finally. It’s been a long wait. I wish I could have been there to officially pay proper respects! New attention on the frontier trail: Video from cedar point below:

Glad the new ride has an unload station. Makes for quicker dispatch.

First ride; Magnum 1994

Please remain seated until the ride has come to a complete stop, and all rumbling has ceased.

Is the parent swap available on this attraction?

What was this? Video isn't loading.

It’s a new log flume. Log capacity is much improved over the old shoot the rapids, or even white water landing. Logs get launched, watch for spray.

Hey... was there any ceremony for opening the wall between the Pagoda Gift Shop and the Sweet Spot?

Unofficial Rule of Ride Removals

You must announce removals in advance so people can get their last rides in, unless a major incident or malfunction prevents the ride from doing so.

This applies to roller coasters, flat rides, water rides, and so on.

Exceptions to this rule include upcharge attractions, waterpark rides, and rides that are effectively redundant within a park.

Darn, on my walk up Frontier Trail today I neglected to check out the "facilities".

A couple random comments: With long lines today my son & I bypassed the big attractions & rode a few smaller ones. First off, I think they tuned up Scrambler as I felt as though it was really zipping around quite swiftly. Then, Wave Swinger seemed to have more "up & down" wave motion as it operated it's cycle, at least it used to seem more of a flat spin.

Part of me thinks they did this video just for "Plague on Wheels."

I actually do enjoy the social media that focuses on the little things or the behind the scenes stuff. There is definitely a whole lot of important work, besides building a new coaster every few years, that goes into making the park a great experience.

I'm curious if they still have people stay after or come in early to pressure wash ride platforms, queues, and midways? Someone posted a picture yesterday showing that Magnum was still closed and I could not help but notice how dirty the midway in front of the entrance looked. Granted I'm not eating off of that surface, but over the years, CP has done a good job of periodically getting through sections of the park with a pressure washer and taking care of that.

What's the seatbelt situation at the new ****ters?

They have over the shoulder toilet paper holders.

I like how this ride has a separate unloading station, like Millennium Force. It’s easier and quicker to unload without the next rider stepping into the car trying to get on.

And it has stand-up trains!

^^ Yes, but like the Wild Mouse, it's low-capacity and no Fast Lane.

My favorite part is the dark tunnel before the first drop, followed by the splashdown.

I’m glad they didn’t go with the floorless model. Those always end up stinking something awful in the heat, the big open pit of emptiness below the seat.
