Ok, I used a FOTL, on Millennium, and they just had me go through a gate to stand at the front of the line, right before the boarding station.

My son won FOTL passes that we used on MF, you walk up the exit and then they let you join the main line right at the gate between the unload and load areas. You do not get to pick a seat in the unload area, or at least they did not let us do so.
Ok, they didn't let me do it either.

I currently have a Platinum pass. Is there a different pass if you have the food option or is it just coded on your account? Next year I can get the senior pass for the first time. Does anyone know if I will need a new pass for that? I thought about the food pass this year but I didn't see Tofts on the list. I see it is now which makes it more appealing. Since my senior pass is $60 less I will probably upgrade to a senior pass/food pass.
Yep, your experience was the same as ours. Well worth bypassing the 1 1/2 hour line - best part is it was my sons first ride on MF. He decided he wanted to go on it so the next day I was off work we headed out to CP, line was long and he didn't feel like waiting so I paid the $10 for 5 chips, I tried the first and got something boring, he asked me if he could try and he got 2 FOTL out of the last 4 chips!
That was one awesome experience as he had no time to even get nervous thinking about the ride while waiting in line. Little guy had his hands up before the bottom of the first hill. I hope it is something he never forgets as I know I sure wont.
^^ The dining plan is simply an add-on in the system. The pass itself is exactly the same. You'd simply present it at a participating location and order a meal indicated with the dining plan symbol.
Toft's is not and will not be included on the dining plan. That is an ice cream shop; the dining plan is for entrees only.
I converted to 'senior' 2 years ago and pass did not change.

I can't find anything on KI site about free FL on Sundays for Platinum/Gold renewals.
Upon first glance it sounds like a horrible idea. But then when you consider there are only two more Sunday's before Haunt, what's the big deal?
Sundays in Haunt at KI are historically D-E-A-D, except for the kids halloween event they hold over in Soak City. We've gone to many Haunt weekends, and always save our riding for Sunday before heading home. Nearly every ride is a walk-on. So, FL is useless on those days. Maybe except for Columbus weekend...

Please, not another debate about Fast Lane. Just except it and get over it. If you don't want to wait as long, buy it.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
The real "huh" thing I'm dealing with is do I renew at KI for the FL+ or Cedar Point for the all park dining. Kings Island doesn't appear to be offering that option!

Judging by the number of people who had no clue about the all season dining plan, free dinosaurs alive, etc... I'm going to guess many renewing pass holders will have no idea they'll get a free fast lane at KI. I would wager less than 50% of renewals will take advantage of the offer.
I'm not sure about that. A large bit of attendance, especially families, carry that gold pass offered down there. Plus I'm sure they get a recipt to redeem the FL+ in a future. If they market and offer it, they want you to use them, so I bet they will be used more than you think.
Gold is used in that park so much, people will go for their short ERT, then I've literally seen them leave the park at open, some saying they're done for the day. It's a shocker to me.

I was hoping they would add a drink plan to season passes for 2015.

As far as I know the list of dining plan meal options for 2015 has yet to be released.
Healthy depends on how you define it.
Coasters and Round-Up now offer fruit cups or caesar side salads in lieu of fries. Sadly, the fruit is those fruit cups from elementary school... Processed fruit swimming in syrup. Yuck.
Pinks has turkey burgers and turkey dogs.
Coasters and Rapid Waves (Soak City) have grilled chicken sandwiches, again fries can be substituted for the above.
There might be something else they've thrown us as "healthy" but I'm not sure. Still would rather have Midway Market back..
My fingers are crossed that MM will be added back in next year.
I'm hoping the increased cost will include MM and more food options.

The cost isn't increased. It's $81 for a regular pass (Cedar Point only) from $72-$84 this year. The $72 is only for renewed passes or when 4+ dining plans are purchased. That's effectively the same if not lower (unless you qualified for the $72 rate.
Platinum Dining is $99 because it includes all outdoor ride and water parks owned by Cedar Fair. The extra $18 goes toward making it chain-wide, not increased offerings at CP.
I can't imagine they'll ever bring back Midway Market at that price. It was shocking that they included it in the first place.

The Caesar Salads at Coaster are very big. I did not expect anything like that, but they are big!

Agreed. I was happy they finally added it because it definitely does have a lot of healthier options. When they presented it as a healthy option, though, it seemed like they hadn't thought it through. When they made it available, everyone was now interested, not just those looking for healthy food. Seems like they much underestimated this, or maybe they just wanted to test it out for confirmation. :(
