Thanks for posting. Obviously, all these dates are tentative and subject to change.
If Coaster Campout is on May 28th, that's the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend. Also, Halloweekends has started on the 2nd weekend in September the past several years. The 18th would be the third weekend.

I think it has to do with the timing of Labor Day. If it falls early in the month like the past couple years then Halloweekends would be the 2nd full weekend. This year with Labor Day not falling so early in th month it pushes everything back a week.
I've been waiting to hear about a date for the campout. I'm sad to see it is tentatively scheduled for a Thursday. I know the event was/will still be very popular and that date will probably decrease some of the popularity, so it makes sense. But I'm fairly certain, my neice's parents aren't going to let her miss 2 days of school before a long weekend just to go. She missed out last year, and was so excited to maybe have the chance to go this year. She will be bummed! And so I am, because the rest of us probably can't go either. Last year was a blast, despite the rain.
I wonder what the "Grad Night" events are. The May 29th one is the day before my high school graduation so if they have special activities or discounts for students, I'd be all for that.

Last season, the Platinum ride nights were Wed. and Fridays-alternating weeks. Is it common for CP to change the day? I hope they add another alternating day. And I've yet to find any info on CP web site in regards to the May 15-17 passholder appreciation weekend. If it's on printed material, I'd think they'd atleast list it under events. Any thoughts?
Keep passing the fun along!
Looking at this it seems that the Campout will fall on the same weekend as Holiwood nights @ Holiday World. Really makes it only possible to do one, which is a bummer!
Upon looking at the Events page on CP.com, it appears the Coaster Campout event is listed as two days (May 28 & 29). I assure you the calendar only has the 1 day (May 28) printed/listed. Weird.
Memorial Day is May 25th, so the campout is the Thursday/Friday after. But Ben is right, that will be the same Friday many of us are traveling to Santa Claus. Although if you're only interested in camping and not any Friday festivities, I suppose you could just leave for HWN right from there.
Now if Kings Island had a campout that same night, it would actually be rather convenient for us Clevelanders. ;)
I know this is off topic but has anyone noticed that Challange Park's operating calendar hasnt been put up yet?
