2014 Souvenir Cups

I recently purchased a 2014 souvenir cup from Canada's Wonderland. Since this is a Cedar Fair park, will I be able to use it for refills at Cedar Point? Has anyone had experience with this?

There are other threads where this has been discussed. Officially it's understood that you're supposed to buy a new cup at each park. In practice, however, nobody seems to care. They'll gladly take your $0.99/refill or $5/day for another park's cup.
