I downloaded the app last fall. It still has the 2013 operating hours on it. How do i get the 2014's?

go to where you download the app (EX. Google Play, search for the app and where it would usually say install, it should say update- click on that. Hopefully that works.

You probably need to wait until they update those hours for the mobile app.

I don't know if this will work, but you can try uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it.

I think the app isn't a high priority for the park. I don't find it very useful. Just go to the website.

The app is always far behind in updates, it will update automatically when they get it. I am pretty sure it just feeds from a website anyway.
During Halloweekends it took almost 3 weeks to get it updated.

Thanks everyone. I did uninstall and reinstall and still had 2013 hours.

The 2014 hours are not updated on the mobile site because it takes a bit longer to get the graphics made - it doesn't pull hours from a web server.

In the meantime, you can check hours here: https://www.cedarpoint.com/hours-directions/cedar-point

Does anyone else find it super annoying that when you click a link to a specific part of cedarpoint.com on your smartphone it defaults to the cedar point mobile home page? Is there a setting that can prevent this?

I don't know how to do it on iOS/Safari, but in Chrome on Android there is a setting where you can force the loading of the regular site rather than the mobile version.

I know this is frustrating. We're hoping to get this resolved in the coming months.

If you have Android and have the Chrome browser, simply go to the browser settings menu and check "Request desktop site". You will stay on the Cedar Point desktop site as long as the menu item remains checked in the browser settings. If you uncheck it, you will be automatically taken to the mobile site. Some other Android browsers have similar functionality.

Tony, can you comment on the closure of the electric-only sites at Camper Village? Since the park has not actually announced it (to the best of my knowledge), a lot of people are going to be disappointed when they go to make their reservations this year and find the sites are all full. What is the long term plan for this area, will it eventually be campsites again or converted to another use?

Sounds like we need a new thread where we can all speculate about it.

I will say, we noticed utility paint markings on our sites in the full hookup loop of CV last fall. I thought it was odd. This was site 289-290, which is about as close to the old section of CV you can get, basically right across the street.

I took photos of it but of course you can't attach pics on this site.

I was on site 292 closing weekend and saw the same utility markings. Didn't think much of it at the time.
