2012 opening hours calendar

Hi,

I'm from outside the U.S and I'm starting to plan my roller coaster trip for this May (King's Dominion, CP and Magic Mountain).

Do any of you guys know when are the opening hours calendar suppose to publish? December? January?

I wanna buy the flying tickets, and I don't wanna count on last year's calendar, although they're always pretty much the same...

I would guess after May 15th they'd be open, but you probably want to wait before buying tickets that are non refundable.

With that said, the weather is much nicer in the second half of may anyway, so planning a trip for then would be ideal.

Wondering what is holding up the release of the operating schedule for 2012

Bryan Edwards indicated at our event on 12/17 that a new version of cedarpoint.com is coming in January. The 2012 calendar will be posted then. Opening day will be May 12, 2012.

I can't wait for coaster season!!!

I like the May 12th opening day. We can re-start our family tradition of going to the park on Mother's Day.

They were waiting until the launch of the new website. That just happened yesterday.

I'm glad to see Saturdays during peak season they are open until midnight. That's a nice surprise. I wish they would stay open until at least 11pm on peak season Fridays. I think 10pm is too early on a Friday during the summer.

I see they are open the weekend after Labor Day. The last few years they've shown that as closed only to open the park later on.

From the customer perspective, its better to show it as unavailable and add it, than have people book hotels and buy tickets only to have it become unavailable.

Did CP just alter to the 2012 operating calendar? I could have sworn that October 7 was open from 11AM-11PM (I looked on the new website about 10 days ago). Now it says 10-10. The only reason why I remember that is I was very excited to see the park open one hour later on that Sunday.

according to my calendar that I typed when the dates came out yes they have alter the schedule and yes october 7 was 11 to 11.
