Cedar point's sister park king's island is now selling 2009 season passes.
This includes kings island only passess and the platinum pass which
includes free parking at all cedar fair parks. I renewed my pass at a
cost of $140. I would guess cedar point will be doing the same in the
near future.
No season pass next year for me two years is enough for me.

With Diamondback opening next year, I can see a few trips to KI next year.:)

I checked the other cedar fair parks website's and kings island is the
only park selling 2009 passes. Does everybody think this is to
capitalize on the excitement of the new B&M rollercoaster?
I'm sure that Diamondback played into the decision as well, but if I recall correctly, Paramount always put out next year's passes about this time for their parks.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
Carowinds hasn't put theirs on sale yet. I was hoping for a cut rate for current holders.

Last year I kind of expected more than a $10 savings when buying early, but the price is already pretty low so that $10 is reasonable. I'll be renewing my Platinum Pass. I'm looking forward to a few Kings Island trips next year, along with Michigan's Adventure, which I plan to visit in a few weeks. Canada's Wonderland won't get me back next year unless they add something new, which is unlikely since they got Behemoth this year.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Does anyone know when the 2009 season passes will be avaliable to purchase at Cedar Point?
I'm trying to buy one for a friend for next year, October is her birthday and I'm hoping to be able to get them before she turns 40 this year.
Thanks.
They usually become available around the begining of Halloweekends.
