2009 christmas party thread.

Well, it's almost that time of year again.

This year we thought that we would try out a new venue as gameworks has gone down hill. We were tossing around the idea of dave and bustersin sterling heights Michigan.

The date in mind is dec 5th.

What do you guys think?

Wanted to start the talk about the party a little early this year, as a lot of people had made other plans last year.

Dave and Busters is another good idea......that could work well. Im for it.

Sterling Hieghts is my hometown, but I'm afraid I can't make it with rent due at the beginning of the month and Christmas right around the corner.. however, you have got to try the chicken fingers in the actual resturaunt area located adjacent to the bar.. they are out of this world! :)

I will, of course, be there!

I called D&B, and we can reserve a section or table(depending on how many plan on showing up).

I just need to know how many plan on going.

Also, for those of you that need a hotel room, there are several right in the parking lot of dave and busters. Here are some links to a few hotels.

There is also a comfort inn about 1/4 mile away as well.

If you would like a budget hotel, there is a knights inn and a place called sunnybrook about 2-3 miles away from dave and busters. Knights inn is a typical knights inn, and sunnybrook is a little better than a knight inn. Sunnybrook is probaly the cheapest room around.

It's been about a year, but I had guests come in from out of town and needed a cheap room. They paid around $40 a night at sunnybrook.

Looking forward to it. 3 weeks from today. 9pm works for me.

If I wasn't making a road trip to Chicago the following weekend, I would consider making the trip. But alas, I can't make it yet again... :(

I don't think I'm going to make it this year either. I'll be over that way next weekend for Thanksgiving, so going again the following weekend is probably out.
