2004 Joe Cool offers

Initial set are posted at the official site. My reaction: meh. With the exception of the Breakwater deal, none of the discounts are worth writing home about. For me, Breakwater has always been *the* preferred place to get breakfast on-point, unless I happen to have brought the coleman stove along. Also, this whole "picnic lunch" thing sounds interesting.

I think it's a big improvement from last year, especially the Breakwater Cafe, picnic lunch, and Frontier Inn deals.

Guess this means no night time ERT? That was great last year.
Extra Ride Time is still available for resort guests and season pass holders.

I think the discounts are just a charming bonus. The real value in Joe Cool is the transferable Parking Pass and that 1/2 hour entrance advantage over the rest of the rabble. I know I shouldn't, but I can never resist a little snicker as I stroll through the gate while the rest of them stand and fume.

I will agree that this years perks are better than last despite no evening ERT. Here's for hoping they add that before the season starts. Those evening ERTs were great, much better than the morning ones.

I saw the "buy one shot, get two shots free" offer and got excited. Then, I read the description and found out it was for a basketball game. Darn!

than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

LOL Pete! :P

Very nice, Pete!

Where are the discounts for Midway Market? I found out last year on closing weekend about that one.

I just wish they'd post signage around the park with the Joe Cool logo or something, because honestly, I forget all about the discounts.

What time does the water show start?

I haven't seen anything for Midway yet, and actually they started Midway half way through the season last year, i remember flipping that card and getting my 10 or 15 percent off the bill.

I'm still waiting for someone to notice the very subtle note that something has been moved.. ;)

If memory serves, Midway was listed as an "any operating day in May" discount originally last year. I never tried to get it after that, but others did.

They moved Chuck Wagon Inn? Oh, you must mean the Basketball game. ;)

Yah I got Midway for the entire year. They never denied me the discount, just took it off. It basically amounted to the tax and tip anyway. I rather would give the discount to the server if they were nice and cleared the table often. Also if they were cute ;-).

Very good Walt.. heheh

With as anal as alot of people are on this site, I'm surprised no one noticed sooner.

You know Rob, when I read the basketball thing I was like "huh, there's no basketball game around millie." We don't play games unless our daughter is with us so I figured maybe I missed it.

Absolutely I agree. The rest of the stuff I couldn't really care less about although it is nice to know it is there. I was really hoping for the nighttime ERT though. What a disappointment. That was so cool last year even if it was only a couple of times it made it a very nice perk. *sigh*
