Won't they be open when the basket people are there though? I'm pretty sure they'll be there on May 3rd.

Yes, the Season Pass Center will be open for pass processing on May 3rd, during normal park hours. However, the park itself will be closed for a private event.

Heh. That made me laugh. "The basket people".

Anywho, I don't know if I'm going to bother going early. How busy is the pass center during that first full week (May 12-15)?

The only thing worse than people who make grammar mistakes are the people who have to point it out every ****ing time.

So, what are the hours on May 3rd? Will it be 10-8, like the normal park hours? I don't really understand.

Figures, the week it opens is when normal schools will be on spring break. Unfortuneately, my school decided to be different by having break the week before Easter. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to go on Saturday morning before prom.

Newbie question here while we are on the topic. This is my first year getting a CP season pass, and I'll be going on opening day. I got my certificate and everything, is there an estimate of how long season pass processing usually takes?
Try to avoid processing your pass on Opening Day AT ALL COSTS! Really, I cannot stress enough how long the line gets on Opening Day to process passes. In recent years I think it's been as much as 6 or 7 hours. The only hope you have of getting your pass in a relatively short amount of time on Opening Day is if you get there super early. But if you can, try to go before the season begins and get it processed then. If not, don't say we didn't warn you! ;)

World's first strata-coaster!

Does anyone know the park hours for "the basket people" on May 3rd. It isn't listed on Cedar Point's website. Thanks for the info.
The park hours on May 3rd will be 10:00 am - 8:00 pm unless any changes are made :-)
what is the best days to go to get your season pass processed?

And what is a "basket people"? lol

I'd imagine weekdays during the middle of the day would be the best time to get your pass since most are at school or working.

This is my second year with a season pass, if I mail my old pass in will it come in time for opening day? Or should I just go and get it processed again?

I got my season pass in the mail today... I’m getting psyched!

(crazyfan, I just mailed the certificate over the weekend and already got my new pass back today, so you should be safe for opening day if you mail it soon...)

This may sound odd, but I am glad to see that they have changed the background color on the passes to green as opposed to the orange that they have been the past two years (am I correct, though, that the pass colors are different depending on which combination you have?)

I remember once last year when a woman in front of me at the gates had mistakenly picked up her 2001 season pass instead of the 2002 pass. She even mentioned to the attendant, "They’re both the same orange color and I didn’t realize that I had the old one." She still got in, but had to go through another channel to verify her 2002 status.

I am partial to green anyway, so it is a welcome change. Now... if they would just change those God-awful green parking stickers to something a little more vibrant...

Like ORANGE maybe...

How much does a company like that have to pay to reserve Cedar Point for a day? Does anybody have any idea?

Scott C., I was told (several years ago) that to buy out CP for one day, you must guarantee 25,000 guests.
