Wow... we're now talking about ERT pretty much every day for start and end of the season. That's pretty sweet!

Sweet! We get in early on opening day!  First to ride WT!

Actually there is quite a bit of new "perks", that's awsome.

I noticed that on the weekdays in June, the gates are supposed to open to the public at 10AM (9:00 on Saturdays and 9:30 on Sundays).  Then starting in June, its back to the 9:30 on weekdays and Sundays and 9:00 on Saturdays.  I'm assuming that for May, the JCC time will be from 9:30 to 10.  But what about starting in June?  9-9:30?  Or still 9:30-10?  Last year there were several times during JCC that they opened the gates to the general public while the JCC time was still going on causing mass chaos.  Hopefully Dan K and Co. have thought this one out this year so it runs a bit smoother for all involved as compared to last year.  Personally, I think they should have the JCC a half hour before the gates open (regardless of opening time), then let the GP in.  They can then hop in line for MF or WT which will already be up and running or wait for the other rides to open up closer to 10.

Also, they said a major expansion which I'm sure means the number of days JCC events are held on, but are they taking away ERT on Magnum, Mantis, Raptor altogether or will there still be some days (like last year) where all the major coasters will be open just like last year?  Not that I'm complaining, but have they cut it from an hour to half an hour and taken away Magnum, Mantis, and Raptor?  Or maybe I missed something. :)  I think Dan might be upset if I'm reading this right... :)

Yes, well, being an employee, WE get to ride it first before opening day, way before...(had to rub it in)

Well, first non-employee, non-construction, non-basket company riders anyway.  I'll love walking past the general public while they have to wait longer!

Are they having another AAA day this year?  I haven't heard anything about it, but if they are, I'll be there.

It wouldn't surprise me, being a new coaster and all...

If you have a marina pass does this also count for you?
Its ok Matt, I can go ride MF and then be the first person in line for Magnum.  :)

JCC members aren't the only ones who will be allowed in the park a half hour earlier.  Anyone staying at the resorts will also be allowed in a half hour early.

I think it's a great idea. It'll be so much fun seeing people waiting at the gates to get in at 10:00 and walking past them and going right for Wicked Twister or Millennium Force...I still haven't really decided.

I wonder if JCC members will only be able to enter, for ERT, at the main gate....

... Joe Cool Club members can gain early admittance by showing their Season Pass at the appropriate turnstile at the main gate...

The other benefits sound OK... but still the pass just for ERT and parking is more than worth it!

This is my first post here, so forgive me if I ask a stupid question or two.  Does the Joe Cool Club membership include free parking?  It doesn't mention that on the Cedar Point website, but an earlier post here made it sound like it did.  We are heading to Cedar Point for the first time ever in May and are a little confused about this.  Thanks!
Not quite.  What happens is if you get a parking pass, you get a sticker for your car.  If you get a parking pass AND a Joe Cool, then you get an endorsement on your season pass instead of a car sticker, making your parking pass portable.

That right there is the main reason I get the Joe Cool, the rest is just gravy :)
