The Toledo Blade has again published an article on everyone's favorite amusement park! It contains the "common knowledge" information about VertiGo, but it's the last paragraph, which has nothing to do with VertiGo, that interests me most. Here's a quote: "To more traditional coaster fans, Mr. Edwards said: 'You never know what's coming next year. Stay tuned.'" Hmmmmm...

Very Interesting?!

"Stop worrying about your stupid back, and ride Mean Streak! You bunch of babies!"
Sounds like good wood to me- the thing traditional coaster fans would be suprized to see.
that also sounds like a wooden coaster to me...the part about Traditional Coaster Fans sort of gave it away. I'm probably wrong though
Well yeah....but traditional coaster fans...compared to what they are getting this year from S&S, maybe a "traditional" coaster would be any coaster!

That one's of my favorite things about Cedar Point...they will let out "little" clues now and again..and the "rest" of the guessing is up to us..Ilove that!
Maybe Mr. Edwards is talking about my floorless coaster :) :) :)

Traditional could mean a sit down looper or a wooden coaster. I agree olympic about how Cedar Point keeps us wondering.

Not to spoil anyone's fun, but I must tell you something about the Blade: They know nothing about roller coasters. Therefore, based on past experiences with the paper, "Traditional" coaster could mean anything. Then again... what do I know?

Well, the Blade didn't say 'You never know what's coming next year. Stay tuned.'" Mr. Edwards.

I think this was meant to read - To more traditional fans of coasters (meaning fans of coasters rather than thrillshot type rides)
Meaning a coaster is likely - not an insight to what kind/style of coaster....I dont think "tradition" & "coaster" were intended to be together here....rather than "traditional coaster" it was meant to say "coaster fans are the traditional CP fans"....

That's not a hint. I've been saying the same thing for months.
It'll be fun to see how people react to the next announcement.

"Your obssesed w/ that place aren't you?"
The suspense is definately building, Petree...I am now more anxious than ever to know...after reading Jeff's "It'll be fun to see how people react to the next announcement" comment.
Let me get it out of the way for everyone right now...
Jeff,
please please please PLEASE PLEASE tell us what CP is building!! We know you aren't supposed to say anything, but we won't tell!! YOU GOTTA LET US IN ON THIS!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!
Ok, now nobody has to bother Jeff about what's coming. I took care of the useless begging, now Jeff can reply that he won't tell us, and we can all get on with life. :)

"You know what happened, Walter."

Personally I hope that Cedar Point doesnt tell us about it until October. Therefore it wont seem as long of a wait. I mean now its bad but wait till we actually know what it is and then we have to wait. If you get what I mean.

Good point, Nick. Though, I would prefer an oficial announcement in September. But, whatever they have planned for 2002, I have total confidence that it will be excellent! :)

hmmm...it could be a 310 ft hotel! :-)
lmao!!!

If I could only remember the 1999 season to see if there was the same wild speculation about MF. I must say if its not 312 feet tall, I won't ride it lol ;)
