2001 season pass price only low till 10-21

regular season pass prices will kick in earlier this year.

I see that the discount parking pass went up from $20 to $25. Does that mean that C.P. is going to increase their parking fee next season from $6.00 to $7 ?

And what is up with the "Joe Cool V.I.P. Membership" optional $15 fee? Special discounts on food, merchandise, hotels, special ride times and a portable parking pass. I think that C.P. needs to provide more info on this then what they are telling you on their web site.

Agreed. I thought they were mailing out a detailed PR but I haven't seen it yet.

Still.. for the $15... if that's the only way to make your parking pass portable.. it's worth it to me.. I go up with so many people and in so many cars it'snot funny.. Most of us pass holders we just never get around to buying a parking pass...

HATE to think what I spent on parking just so I wouldn't have to thunk down the $45 that I brought to drink and eat with...

I was thinking of buying a season pass for 2001, but since I'm only gonna be 15 this summer. Is it worth it? I can't drive yet so I won't be able to get down there very often.

I'd like to know how much the portable parking pass will be. And if I buy the $25 parking pass, can I turn that INTO a portable pass? I hope that press release Jeff mentioned comes out soon...

The parking pass only becomes portable if you purchase the "V.I.P. Joe Cool" membership for an extra $15.00, in addition to the cost of the season pass and the cost of the parking pass. At least that's my understanding as they (C.P.) briefly talk about this on their web site.

Also, do you think that the name "Joe Cool" is a "Snoopy"(Peanuts character)reference? It just occurred to me.

Yes, the "portable pass" is AVAILABLE when you get the "Joe Cool" thing, but it's not clear if there's an ADDITIONAL cost on top of everything else to get it ("available" doesn't necessarily mean "given").

I'm very happy with the Joe Cool "thing" Although I don't know any of the more advanced features it sounds good. And since I get a combo pass anyway, it won't cost me any extra!
