2001 Schedule

When will the 2001 opperating schedule be released? Or is this basically the same question as the brochure?

It's already released on the season pass brochure. You can only get one if you previously had one. May 6, to October 14

They've almost always opened on a Sunday. Last year was an exception.

I am not trying to start any rumors and Marcus you might be able to back me up. But I "heared" that they are considering keeping the park open till the end of October. I guess none of the employees, including my self, have gotten their re-hire applications yet as a result. Once again this is only what I "heared" and I DO NOT know if it is true or not.

CP has opened on the SECOND Saturday of May for daily operation for many years. Last year was an exception with the basket people on the Saturday and then AAA day on Sunday the first weekend of May.
CP LOVES to have a Company Buyout to start the season. But, this is not always possible.

According to the CP Website and employee Section it seems that Cedar Point will be open later in the season...... it says that Employees will be paid a bonus for all work until October 28.

They usually pay bonus just until the last day of the season.

I agree with Joe E. I’d be willing to pay extra for a ticket in to the park (available to Joe Cool season pass holders only) for an early ride at C. P. in May.
