2001 Opening Day Date

If my counting is right then 2001 Opening Day is Saturday May 5th. I get this by the ad in the Friday section of the Plain Dealer that says "ONLY 162 Days Till Opening Day". So i took my calander and counted 162 days and I landed on May 5th.

that was in the Plain Dealer??? Did they do an arcicle on CP or something???

at least it makes it more bearable for me, believe it or not..now i have a finite number of days that i have to work two jobs in order to afford our next trip!!!

It was just ad saying to buy your season pass and it had a picture of MF with 162 days on it

who knows,this year they might have a special joe cool park preview day or something,like alot of other parks do for passholders
and since i spent my season pass money on a speeding ticket my last trip,id sure buy mine quick when i learned of anything like a passholder preveiw day :)
(i'm not getting my hopes up,just wishin,right along with the rest of you,but this is the 2nd refernece ive heard of that date being possible,so im curious)

Park admissions has made a bulk mailing to season pass holders encouraging us to give Cedar Point gifts for the holidays. In it they list the 2001 season as beginning May 6 and ending October 14.
