2 or 3 seat coaster trains?

Does anyone think that wooden coasters that have 3 seat cars are smother than 2 seat cars? The Blue Streak has 3 seat cars, and so does the Comet at Great Escape which I have been on and they seem to be alot smother rides than any 2 seat car train coasters I have been on.
What are you talking about?

There are only 2 seats per row on Blue Streak.

I think they mean 3-row cars (6 seats) vs. 2-row (4-seat) cars.

I have never felt smothered on Blue Streak.

Holiday World uses 2-bench PTC's on both their coasters and you wont find smoother rides anywhere :).

In theory shorter trains should track better, but I think most if it has to do with design and maintenance. Mean Streak uses 2 bench cars, but is it a horrible design compared to Blue Streak or Comet, so it will feel rougher.

There are not just 2 or 3 either. A ride like Lightning Racer at HershyPark uses Millennium Flyers which are basically 1 bench cars, while the Coney Island Cyclone uses 4 bench cars.

Although a vehicle usually rides smoothest between the wheels. The middle row on a three bench car is probably the smoothest of the available seats on two and three bench cars, all other things being equal.
