Is there any program to take advantage at the park to add on a second day to a single-day pass? I was wondering if it would be any cheaper way than buying the Ride and Slide pass online. Even if it only saves 5 bucks or so, that's still money I could be spending on Food or something.
Oh, and If possible, since my Mom won't be going to the park, and will only want to drop us off, does anyone know a way of not having to pay the parking fee and not be, like, a mile away from the entrance? Preferably coming from the back entrance.
Yeah, we're cheapskates.
No; The Ride and Slide ticket is the only 2-day option.

If you tell the toll booth people on your way in that you are getting dropped off, your mom can be refunded most of the money on her way out, provided she stays for less than 30 minutes. They will keep 50 cents for a causeway toll.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
No. Although that would only work if you were in the car while getting dropped off. If someone comes back to pick you up later, I believe you will still be charged the 50 cents.

So...
If my mom goes in the parking lot at 9:30, tells the attendant and gets some sort of ticket for 30 minutes, and drops me off at the main gate, then leaves and then comes back at 10:30 that night and picks me up, that's going to be $1.00?
Sounds good to me.
Who does she give the ticket to on the way out to say she's only been there 30 minutes? Is there a booth when leaving the parking lot?
This should answer your question:
Guest Drop-Off: All vehicles entering Cedar Point’s parking area must pay the appropriate parking fee. If a guest states they only wish to drop off near the main gate and immediately leave again, the full parking fee will be charged as they enter, and they will be given a parking fee refund (less the $.50 toll) if they depart within 30 minutes. To receive the refund, the guest must stop next to the Tollbooth as they are exiting, and present the parking ticket to the attendant for validation and refund.

There is a parking lot to the right of the toll booths as you are leaving. Park in there, walk over to the main booth (there is a door on the back side of it) and they'll give you the refund.
