Wow. I walked right up to the window Wed. at 3:10 and in to photo area minutes later. No lines at all. All-Ohio parking sticker shows up on pass, but C.P.-only parking pass is only in bar code. No visual emblem on the pass. Be careful if you're turning in multiple vouchers and only 1 -2 C.P.-only parking passes. Afterwords, we took Pointbuzzers advice and stopped at Chet and Matts for Truckers meatball sub(Great fries)and wife had the Polar Bear Philly Steak Sub. Great place, but we were the only ones in there. Took a video of Maverick on the way out. Thought it might help all those long distance coaster junkies waiting for C.P. to open.

Well thank you for trying to post the video. But, that area is still for authorized vehicles only.
Yeah, we had the same expierence(sp?). We arrived at 2:50p and thought we were gonna have to wait ten minutes but they were already processing passes. There was only one other family and one pointbuzzer getting a pass. It will most likely be the same tommorow when I go with my family. My wife had to work today. So, Her and I are gonna run back up to get them 2morrow.
Chris,
It was great meeting you. I hope that you can attend the party. And once again I just love that license plate.
Peace, Mikey
Yeah it was the same throughout the day yesterday, cold with no line. The older gentleman that was processing the passes was really nice (as was everyone else) and was talking to my friend and I about where we live, and about Cedar Point while our passes were being made. It's moments like that (friendly staff) that make Cedar Point just stand out in the amusement industry.
And while I admit that driving down Perimeter road is a tantalizing idea, Walt is right. You might not have had anybody say anything to you, but that still doesn’t justify going down there.

I will not be able to make it to the season pass office before the park opens. Hopefully the lines will not be bad.
As I mentioned in another thread, they have all upgraded equipment, and they have more camera stations than they used to, so they should be able to move people through at a higher volume than before. And as Adam said, the entire staff at the pass office was fantastic! :)
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Has there been any word yet on how the season parking passes will work? Will we have unlimited entry like past years?

I asked them today when I got my pass and they said that the pass will scan unlimited amount of times at the gate. So we can leave and come back. That is good, cuz I do not eat inside the park very often.
Peace, Mikey
^On the back of my SP it specifically states that you need to get a handstamp in order to reenter on the same day, just like any other guest.
I think Mikey was talking about the parking portion of the pass, not the entry to the park portion.

Awesome, that is what I wanted to hear. Hopefully that also applies to the second household parking pass as well. Thank you for the info.

Yup you can, it just involves an extra step. All that you need to do is go to the outside ticket counter of the SP center and purchase your voucher(s,) then just like everyone else hand your voucher to the person sitting outside the door on the picnic side of the building and then head inside for the picture.

Sorry about the video link Walt.!
No worries. :)
I did notice there was a sign this morning. Not sure when it went up, but Maverick isn't accessible without driving past it.

About the parking pass: I asked the man that was talking to us at the center and he said it's in the barcode. And I think if you have a Maxx pass, it'll be designated what parking (the all ohio or just CP) you have. But if you have a regular CP pass, it'll be in the code.

^I have an All Ohio Parking/Maxx Pass and I have an "OP" under my picture. On the back of the card it has a key which does have a "P=Parking at Cedar Point" so I think you are correct.
^No, they've discarded that choice.
^^I've read the same thing on the back of my pass, but I dont have a "P" on the front of my pass. So I hope the man was right about the barcode.
