I was going through an old recording of a local broadcast from June 17th, 1965. It has an ad for Cedar Point on it. Here is it.

Come on, man, Windows Media sucks. Everyone on every computer can hear an MP3.

Ah, the good old days when the turnpike cars looked like cars that people were really driving.:)

The point was the nostalgia of the ad, not, omgzzz1100011! It's not up to date wit technology!!!

I swear some of you will never be happy until there's one single standard of technology for everyone.

Very cool find, Windows Media or not...

Well the point is sorely missed if you can't listen to it, don't you think?

Thanks for reminding me Jeff. My intentions were to do it in MP3 from the begining. I had to download an mp3 encoder though. Here is the MP3 version of the file.

Apparently not, Jeff, since so far, no one but you seems to have had a problem with it. But its in Mp3 format now, so you should be fine now.

That's because most people just move on and it's not worth complaining about.

Here's a news flash... 10% of visitors to this site are Mac users. They smell better and are more attractive too.

Well, I don't use a Mac, have a bit of an offensive smell, and make Danny Devito look like a hunk........but......I am less filling.

As a Mac user, thanks for the MP3 version.

Interesting that they did POP even back then (if only twice a week).

As far as I know, POP became available daily starting in 1970. You could still get tickets if you wanted though.
