1950's... Futurama...

I'm noticing a lot of 1950's decorating and theming in a few areas of the park. It has been going on for a few years. The color schemes of rides like Wicked Twister, newly repainted relocated Troika, Wildcat, and anything else in those "hot" colors reminds me of things my relatives told me what the 1950's were like. Coasters and Johnny Rockets are two examples of what my generation sees as "classic" 1950's style. A lot of the Main Midway games facade is rather Futurama, but yet has the 1950's appeal to it. Sort as if people in the 1950's saw the future being depicted that way.

I'm starting to wonder if CP is really making an effort to do some theming utilizing what is there, but adding to it as future projects occur. Maybe CP will actually have a totally new feel for us younger people... 1950's Futurama...

It wouldn't bother ME any, and would greatly appeal to those who are 50 an older.
