"16" Coasters?

Hey JJ...

First of all, don't waste your money on a Yankees game!!!! If you aren't coming to The Point, then just throw your money out in the street. Or just send it to me instead. You will have TONS more fun at CP.

Now that we are clear on that lets move on... I took my daughter on CCMR this year. She LOVED it - by the way she just turned 10. Had to ride it 3 more times after we got off. It is not the biggest, fastest or smoothest ride BUT I still enjoyed it too. Something about that big hill over the water - Still fun. Her first coaster was Gemini Jr when she was 4. I got to take her on it so it was my first time too. She has expressed an intrest in riding some of the bigger coasters but didn't make the height requirement.

The Woodstock Express is a decent coaster in its own right. You just have to find a little kid to take you on it.

If you want FAST and SMOOTH - Millennium Force is the best. If you want FASTER and SMOOTH - Then TTD is way to go.

If you want BUMPY, JERKY and FAST - Mean Streak

All of the coasters have an appeal.... So you will have to decide for yourself which ones to do over and over again - This may take more than one trip to Cedar Point by the way.

Good Luck and enjoy your visit. The last I check the Yanks were in second place so your money is better spent coming on out!!!!

Please remain seated until the ride comes to a complete AND final stop.....

Ahh, no you do not. WE does not require a child escort for adults. Junior Gemini does however.

My mistake...,

but the last time we rode it - 2 yrs ago - I had to wait for my daughter to get off and ride with me. The ops wouldn't let me on by myself....

The ops might have come over from JG or something, because we ride it all the time.

The last time I rode it, I said something to the girl working about how it must be a pain to go around and unlock all those seatbelts, and she said it definitely was. She also told me to bring a bobby pin next time I want to ride it and unlock my own seatbelt :).

Which one is JJ again?

And when you do that you'll get the anal retentive op who will want you booted from the park for doing that.

Yeah, I know. I fixed my typo, too. :)

Hey, ive never been to the point and ive never ridden a coaster higher than 100ft, (tallest.Big Bad Wolf 100ft) fastest Rebel Yell 56mph)mostly cause i havent ridden a coaster in 4 years(besides Blazing Fury). Now i wont go near the things. So dont ever say a coaster isnt worth being a coaster.

Bow down, Bow down before the power of Santa, or be crushed, be crushed by----- his Jolly boots of Doom.

Coming Soon! Star Wars episode 7- The Fallen Hero

episode 9- Victory of the Force

People who disregard anything that doesn't personally appeal to them have a narrow point of view.

Nonsense. Only the stuff I care about is important. ;)

Me too.

haha you're old :p

I still don't get what age has to do with anything online. I've seen 14 year olds who conduct themselves fine and use proper grammar. I've seen 40 year olds who come across as being about 9.

Haha, how'd ya know me so well? Hey, my brother's name is Ben! :)

Seriously, I'm 14, and I rather dislike the personality, grammar, conduct, etc. of many people these days. But then, I'm a rare and unique person, so I guess that's a good thing ;)

Descent, coasterguy? You mean, that thing that occurs when going down? ;)

And I never have gotten to go on Millennium... How sad. But I did indeed get to ride TTD, and thar ride is AWESOME! :) :)

<My.Opinion> If you can handle it, ride the big ones, at least the steelies but the woodies aren't bad either. Dragster, Magnum, Gemini, Twister... All are really good rides and do the park proud! </My.Opinon>

And now I realize that I spelled Millennium wrong. Thanks *** Edited 8/16/2006 3:17:13 PM UTC by topthrilldragster4lyf***

I played Descent for HOURS on my old 486sx. It was the best 1st person shooter EVER. It had this awesome feature where you used your modem to call another modem and you could play your friends over a phone connection!

That was right around the time they came out with the 300 baud modem, wasn't it?

I remember that. (Most of the youngins won't even know what I mean by baud)

eat. sleep. ride! - Coaster apparel and accessories!

Ride on, MrScott!

What age do you consider a youngin, and I often have to adjust the baud rate on my computer at work when running a DNC program on my CNC. I bet most of the old timmers won't even know what I mean by DNC.

Well this one time I plugged my PCI into the SCSI and the MoBo blew up and then the CD died when I played with the RAM and ROM. The WMR and the ILJ were never the same after the EJU shortage of 1993.

My other option is going to a NY Yankees game in New York.

George has enough money. Go to Cedar Point.

Remember the ACCOUSTIC modems, where you put your phone receiver on the cups on top? I beleive that is what they used in the movie war games.
