100 Days Till

There is only 100 days till we can ride the new Top Thrill Dragster and i can't wait! I have to countdown on and it is going to be fun. See you in the lines on opening day!

simma down now. only 100 days? u make it sound like a short amount of time....i mean I cant wait to ride TTD either, but thats a little more than three months right there until we can ride it. three months is a lot of time and alot can happen. may will get here when it gets here. you guys want it to come so quickly that it will be over before you know it, and then it will be winter again, and you will all do the same thing over again. go figure.

Ya know, i remember way back when the off season started and we had like 180 days to go, and the time has been going by really quick. I think that these last 100 days should go by rather quickly.

Well you guys are all extremely lucky, I am jealous of everyone one of you. I am going down to Ecuador and wont be returning for two years, no trips home and very little contact with the outside world. i have to wait two and a half years to ride Dragster. That will sure be a test of my faith. So my count down stands at 831 days and counting, geese thats a long time.

Well look at the positive side. Your going someplace that is warm and doesn't have temperatures below zero.

100 days is a lot, but when it starts getting warmer, the time will go by faster. At least thats how it is for me.

But, Hey...I'm going to florida in a few days, That should help out a bit :)

Well, I figured someone would make a stink about my "99 days until OPENING DAY" post - as it was closed! :(
For the record, I had already planned on posting it a few days ago - and I was bummed when I saw the "100 days left" posts, as I knew that meant mine would probably get shutdown for sure. Also, I certainly didn't have any intention of making a new post for every day that passes for the countdown.
That being said, I wanted to repost my poem under this topic - as I still would like to share it with anybody that might care!!

Our CP countdown has reached sweet number 99…
Like most of you, I have been constantly counting down the time.
Now that the count has reached double digits at last…
It’s less than 100 days until we all get to have a blast!
The song says there are 99 bottles of beer on the wall…
But I have to drink every last one every time the calendar hits Fall!
Maybe we should take down a beer for every passing day…
Then when our cups runith dry – we’ll know it’s time to go play.
My calendar has now turned to Winter, that darn thing…
When oh when will it ever hit Spring??
We're a mere 5 short days from off-season being half-way…
I sure can’t wait to be placing my Nikes on each and every midway.
Thanks to this forum, some have been lucky to make friends…
So that we all share in the feeling we can’t wait till the off-season ends.
I watch videos and clips in the off-season just to stay alive…
I even stayed up to hear about the new thrill ride until clear past five.
Top Thrill Dragster will take us up an incredible 42 floors…
There a good possibility – I may fill my drawers!
Going at an unreal 120 miles per hour, we’re going to fly…
They don’t have the slogan for nothing – RACE FOR THE SKY!!!
Where else in the World do you have so many coasters to choose…
Millie, Dragster, Magnum, Gemini, Mantis, Raptor, plus 10 more – how can you lose?
What could be the only better thing we could hear?…
Cedar Point to announce: WE’RE OPEN ALL YEAR!!!
OK, I realize that there’s the cold and the snow…

I was pondering this last night, thinking how long it was until CP would open, and realized that today would be the 24th, making it 100 days. I think that the 100 day marker is a sense of hope, since it was 180 days a few months ago. :) I want it to get warmed soon.

CP bound: is it 100 days TODAY? Virtual Midway says that it's only 99 days - and there were a couple of posts yesterday that said 100... making it 99 today. Maybe it has something to do with rather you count the current day - or the last day, or something... who knows?!?!

Either way, it's just too many days --- I wanna go NOW! :-)
