I heard some interesting comments last weekend while at Knoebels and was wondering if any of you folks know how many swings are in the maxair cycle.
I know there are a few folks around here who may have seen the ride in run in person and heck, some of you web cam watchers may have it figured out by now.
From the talk I heard it may actually end up being a much longer cycle than Delirium. Anybody know?

Delirium gets you the three full swings with one of them having a little extra "oomph." I'm not sure if this is the standard ride cycle or if it's something PKI requested as either longer or shorter than normal.
Given Cedar Point's uber-short cycles on the flats currently operating I wouldn't be suprised if it's cut short on maXair.
I'm told that this one parks faster and raises the floor much faster, so that will help with capacity.

HAHAHAHA!!! Yeah, just imagine....:)
I sincerely believe this ride cycle is significantly longer than Delerium. I found it to be much more enjoyable, not only in the length of the cycle, but the visuals offered. Seeing Wicked Twister and Raptor upside-down, and then Dragster laying on it's side certainly added to the ride experience.

I think I'd pass on riding maXair if it were to do a complete loop around. I've been on enough of those nasty Intamin Looping Starships to know that I don't find it thrilling or fun to be hung upside down in one of those uncomfortable torture devises. The same goes for those Zamperela rides that like to make your head want to explode (Hawk, Mixer, Rotoshake).
