Breakers Room Question

I have a question regarding the Breakers rooms. We have never stayed in a resort, except for Lighthouse Point many moons ago, and we are making our first trip in several years to the park. We are travelling with a couple friends, and are considering the Breakers vs. Sandcastle for four adults. I notice all of the different types of rooms at the Breakers, and I was torn between a lakeview and non lakeview suite. However, my question is this, if it is a non lake view suite, will it be facing the park? I think Id actually rather be facing the park than the lake, to be honest. Is there a specific type to look for in order to face the park? Thanks so much for your help.

There are no bad views really. Overlooks parking lot and park. Try and request a higher floor for better views.

Also, stay at breakers for the beds. Very high quality.

Sandcastle still had crappy mattresses last year.

We finally(!) booked our trip last night, for May 21-24th at the Breakers. In the reservation confirmation online, it says this:

Located: * 1st - 4th Floor Breakers East Section * 2nd - 9th Floor Breakers Tower Section * Can be near R2Q, R1KXH, S2QX, S2QXX, SPS, S2QLH, S2QL, TH2, TH2H, TH39L

I have been trying to decode this, but Im not familiar at all with the hotel. Can I request one of those types? What would be my best option from those, if anyone is familiar. I am so excited, as its been probably 5 years since we've made the trip.

We booked a lakeview suite that weekened (we used the code RETURN for a discount and it's not usable on non lakeview suites). I believe the coded letters are just telling them what rooms it can be near. We requested to be close to my brothers standard room, which shouldn't matter of your whole group is staying in one room.
May 21-22 is a Season Passholder appreciation weekend. If you were considering getting a pass.

We used the return code as well, and purchased the 2 day pass with free after 4 pm ticket as well. We are pretty far away, location wise, or I would love to get a pass. So I should request a room in the tower? I was unsure which would be the best, between the tower and the east.

This will be my family's first year to get a pass, my parents have had one the last few years and started planning on going to other Cedar Fair parks and Halloweekends.
We have stayed in both the East (close to Windseeker entrance) and the Towers (close to the Magnum entrance) I didn't have a problem with either side. The East section is only 4 floors high.

We booked a similar room a few years ago, pre-renovation. Ask for a room high on the tower facing the park. The view is unreal, especially at night (keep in mind a lot of the lights stay on long after the park closes)!

Can we request it when we get there, or is there a way to add it to our reservation now?

Call Central Booking at (419) 627-2106 and request it. They will tell you that requests are noted but not guaranteed. And then at check-in, when they tell you where the room is, ask about your request. Worked for us.

Thanks so much. I will do that tomorrow! 81 days until our trip!
