Cedar Point dreams

I often dream about the roller coast too. The issue one sounds like it really sucks. About the other one, it sounds a little weird. Imagine getting on MF to only have a higher version of Maverick's layout. That honestly would be disconcerting, but so much fun. :)

Honestly, I get a lot of bizarre dreams(enough to fill a book) about me flying, some strange scenario, and/or going on bizarre adventures. So, you had a couple lucid dreams? What was that like? I wished I could've been able to control the dreams I had about flying off of Skyhawk or being locked in the park at night.

I had a lucid dream at Cedar Point once, I should have posted here when I had it. It was a few months ago, but I still remember it pretty well! This happened after my mom and I got a rollback IRL, and my uncle had not been there

It was probably the greatest dream I have ever had. I went to the park with my mom and uncle. It was still early in the season because the shows had just started. We just arrived and when we passed the Jack Aldrich Theater, I asked my uncle if he had seen Lights, Camera, Actions! yet, but he said no. We went on Raptor, which felt so real! I felt the wind, and I felt the adrenaline. This was real life, in my perception. Then we went to the Red Garter to see my favorite show, Totally Live: This Country Rocks! We sat at a table near the stairs, which was the only available seating. I knew right away something was wrong when the show started. There were only two singers, and neither were originally part of the show! In other dreams, I usually accept everything in it as reality. I have had dreams before where coasters were in the wrong spots and it seemed all normal to me. This time, it was different. I knew I was dreaming right then and told my family. They thought I was being silly. I told them how the show was supposed to be and that there was no way this was the reality. My uncle seemed like he was considering the possibility of it being true, but didn't say anything. I wondered if either of them were having the same dream (sadly, they weren't).

Then I had an idea. I thought about the last lucid dream I had where I tried to teleport to Cedar Point but it wouldn't work. I concluded that if it can't happen in reality, it can't happen in a lucid dream. I told my mom and uncle that we needed to go to Top Thrill Dragster right away because this was a dream and I was aware of it, which meant I could control it. I told them we were going to get a rollback. My mom laughed but agreed anyway, and my uncle said sure but didn't look like he really wanted to. He was quiet, probably still trying to wrap his head around the idea of it being a dream. My mom and I were seated at the front of the first car, the first train, and my uncle sat directly behind my mom as a single rider. I was really giddy because I knew we would get a rollback. We launched and again, I felt it. I got so ecstatic at how the launch felt so real despite it being a dream! We didn't even make it to the top; it was unlike the rollback in real life. We fell back and it was incredible! All of us were freaking out with excitement as we slowed to a stop. My family then seemed to remember what I said and looked at me in shock and amazement. I told them, "see! I told you!" The train was moving back slowly like it had in real life, and I wondered if they would relaunch us or send us back into the station. They relaunched us, but I didn't consciously hope for it (for some reason, I had forgotten that if I can cause a rollback, I can cause a relaunch too). We made it over the top that time, and when we got off the ride I was laughing at my family and laughing at life and the world and how lucky I was to be able to control a freaking rollback! I must have woken up after that because I can't think of what happened afterward. I really hope I have another lucid dream some time!

A rollback in real life, and in a dream? A lucid dream, much less...Okay, I admit, I am jealous of you...How the hell do you get a rollback in real life is what I want to know.

I actually had another weird Cedar Point dream. If you must know, I dreamed I was watching a CP themed anime. It starts with me being there at the park, with Tony on a stage by the Magnum, he was getting everyone else riled up. Human Magnum was right next to him, looking a little nervous, if not scared. When I get closer to the stage, everything looks a little somber, despite the happy atmosphere. Finally, I can hear what he's saying. "Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today to honor the ride that started the coaster wars." Everyone begins cheering for Magnum as he goes on about the coaster legacy. So, then he says, "And today commences the creation of another record-breaker, introducing the Euthanasia Coaster! The tallest, at 1,000 feet, and the fastest, at 240 mph!!" This thing, here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2107238/Euthanasia-M...s-you.html

Magnum looks like she's about to faint, and later on, while i'm riding power tower, I see this black orb(or something) descend to the ground and see the structure being built fairly quickly. While I'm minding my own business near coaster's drive in, probably getting something to eat, I see human Skyhawk push through some of the crowds, while shouting bloody murder. Of course, nobody believes what she's saying because she's easily scared. What she was saying is that the new coaster has taken tony over and assimilated him with it. A manager tries to calm her down, but she shows solid evidence of her words. For this new coaster monster to work, it has to take one person, and assimilate them inside itself to live, while draining them of their life. So, the other coasters and rides try to fight this monster, the last one being magnum. One long fight later, Magnum is almost out of battery power, and the whole park is almost down. The Euthanasia coaster is almost weakened, as it's not meant to fight. The only way to defeat this ride is to basically kill the human inside, weaken the human, or pull it out. Seeing this moment, she lunges for the monster going right through him. She comes out, him in her arms. After that, the Euthanasia coaster falls to pieces and fades into black dust that goes into the sky. The next day, I get news that Everyone involved in the incident is fine.

Thus ends the Anime themed dream...

Well, ValravnCP, I am going to do a few drawings based around my dreams, as, well, my dreams are WEIRD...If I had a nickel for every time I had a weird dream I'd be rich.

I once dreamed about me getting hired to work at CP. I get put on skyhawk, and when I get in, we're having mechanical issues. Needless to say, hijinks ensue.

A couple nights ago, I dreamed that CCMR was converted into a water ride. It was kind of like White Water Landing. But no way that's even possible.

That would have been so damn cool, honestly. I had more of a king's island dream, but it was where banshee was converted into a wizard of Oz dueling coaster.

My most recent one had me at the park at night. By steel vengeance, there's fire going up. I go over there, and red track is looming overhead with a new station. Turns out, there's a 4d coaster there. Weird...

I had a dream last night where I was standing on Magnum's platform, and for some reason the control booth was moved across to the load side, and that the station was totally open except for a small fabric cover.

I dreamt that Cedar Point decided to have a randomly open weekend in November, and offered to pay double wages to make us work. I was sent on break and decided to ride some rides (which I'm not allowed to do in reality). The rides were put in different places and used different trains. Raptor used the cable cars from Sky Ride and GateKeeper used the Raptor trains. It was weird!

(I've also been having a lot of work related dreams lately. I didn't have this many during the on-season)

I had a dream last night where Cedar Point showed what they were putting in the former spot of Extreme sports stadium. Get this, all they did was move Troika in its spot. I don't know what they put in Troika's old spot though.

Dreamed last night that Valravn was closing because of a lack of popularity (much like Shoot the Rapids IRL), which really sucked, because I like that ride. In the same dream, I also found out that HangTime at Knott's was structurally unsound, and that they would have to tear it down and start anew before the coaster was even finished.

Lots of weird stuff happens in my dreams, okay? :P

I've never dreamed about Cedar Point.

BUT, I will still have dreams about working at Geauga Lake. It's been 12 years since my last season there. :(

I recently had a dream that Gemini was disassembled and rebuilt in the city of Lorain as a stand alone attraction and I was trying to take a picture of it from a shopping strip parking lot across the street and complaining to my husband that this was not a good place to put it because now it's not included in my pass and I really don't want to hang out in Lorain. There were mature trees growing all beside the tracks so you could only see the edge of the coaster and occasionally a train would come around.

I had this last night, but I dreamed the park opened for the 2018 season. So far, so normal. I get to frontier town and ride maverick, and even though it's may, it's pretty much as if jack frost was riding. The temperature was only 25 degrees out, and there was snow. Now, things are getting weird. I begin to ride, and the temperature is back in the 70's again. Next thing you know, right when maverick goes into the launch tunnel, it turns to a CP/sonic themed puzzle platformer game, and I had to complete it to make the ride progress. I seriously woke up thinking "What the f**k, brain?" and I was kind of disappointed we weren't open yet.

I had this strange dream where me and my friends were in this scavenger hunt at the park. Everytime we reached a different ride, attraction, and/or food stand, we had to answer a question or do some kind of trick to move on in the park.

Dude, that actually sounds kind of fun, Answering trivia to move on in the park. Now I have the mental image of us pointbuzzers going in to the park, only to have the rides "locked" and Tony standing at the entrance asking a question about the ride. XD He appears at each new ride probably via teleportation.

Tony: *at Magnum's entrance* Name 2 things that were released the same year as Magnum XL 200.

Me: *frantic* The Nintendo Gameboy and SEGA Genesis!!!

Tony: *Disappears/teleports to another ride while the Pointbuzzers pile onto the ride*

Okay, this is another dream I had. Brace yourself, some parts are not for the faint of heart.

I go to the park to celebrate an achievement: getting hired as medical examiner/coroner.(my dream job in real life along with being a genetic engineer). Of course, that meant being a licensed forensic pathologist and going through medical school. At the end of college, I specialized in forensic pathology and genetic engineering. So yeah, I go there to celebrate that, maybe have a few drinks. When I get into the park for early entry, I notice a storm going on ahead of us. I ride Valravn and Gatekeeper without problems, but when I go to Millennium Force, everything goes wrong.

When my train is on the airtime hill back, the coaster is struck by a bolt of lightning and is down. I think I'm about to die when I notice the brakes don't work. Immediately, the brakes fire up and hold my train in place. Next thing you know, my lap bar, and only my lap bar comes up and my seatbelt is undone. I question what's going on, only for an employee to tell me that they haven't gotten the ride up, but it was able to undo my own seatbelt and lap bar. If anything, they were looking for a coroner because someone died. I go into the station and on the side by the ride op cubicle, there's a supercharged mess of someone that looks to be unwillingly fused with the coaster. A hazel colored eye was sticking out along with a driver's license, so I pick it up. Blood stained the walls, the blue train, guests and everything else. The person who was fused to the coaster had in tact vocal chords and said that she was minding her own business when the lightning struck the lift hill at 9:30 and she was fused with the roller coaster. She was controlling the ride with her mind. Trust me, this was very horrifying...o_O

I go out and make my way to Maverick. Only problem is the layout to this and MF were destroyed. However, the second I touch the coaster, I get the power to control metal. So yeah, I repair the rides and change MF's layout. So I go to Skyhawk, and things get worse. I go to find out the ride has basically come to life. There's also the same messes of gore at all the rides. It's looking around and even reaching out with the swings. I video the ride in action and post it on pointbuzz. Next thing you know, Me, Tony, Richard, Matt, and some pointbuzzers are standing at the fence of the ride. We start asking questions and get some interesting responses. One question that was asked is if the ride remembers anything. Next thing you know the top of the ride droops down almost as if in shame. The ride then detaches the cable from the left swing and whips the fence, barely touching it. They put this together as the accident in 2014 involving the cable snap. When asked, I immediately see tear-like fluid coming out at the top of the ride and running down along with metallic sniffling from the cylinders.

Someone asks about the people harmed in the accident, and things take a turn for the worst. A human-like scream emits from the ride and it lashes out at all of us. Some of us are hurt by the ride. Tony and Matt aren't hurt, so I send them to calm down the now sapient ride. Richard is sent for first aid supplies. A lot of people have laceration wounds that I help treat. After fixing up injuries, emergency services are called while I sit back and think...My plan is to find out if the other rides have come to life. After a brief lunch break, I head to Blue Streak. The ride is closed and I find someone lying unconscious on the ground and she looks EXACTLY like a humanoid version of the roller coaster. Someone then tries to wake her up, but only problem is she's covered in a thick coating that's a mix of blood and sawdust. I remove it and Use an AED on her, and she wakes up.

Blue Streak proceeds to panic, then rant about how she was sedentary for 53 years. Us Pointbuzzers look around the park and find out that the situation that happened with Blue Streak happened with the other rides. So, we do all kinds of tests on them and then Tony and the higher-ups want to know what happened. From the testing, we find out some interesting things such as Skyhawk being color blind, Power Tower having Heterochromia, and also Skyhawk is an autocannibal who eats her titanium plating her condition is critical. We get divided up into 4 teams: Windseeker, Power Tower, MaXair, and Skyhawk. Three guesses to what team I was put on. Each team was given a task to complete:

Skyhawk: Work in the lab. Process evidence brought by MaXair's team.

Windseeker: Do research in the computer lab and libraries about biomechanical fusion.

MaXair: Explore the park and collect evidence and samples of hair, fabric, fluids, or anything else that could prove crucial.

Power Tower: Secure the park. Prevent guests from going into more dangerous parts of the park.

After all that is said and done, I go to sleep in hotel breakers. When I wake up, the human rides are gone. I poke around with a couple pointbuzzers, and we find an underground lab containing them. They're being held in stasis until they can be tested on further. A couple scientists are coming down to do some experiments on one of the coasters. They get their teeth knocked out, and we wake up everyone from stasis and get out. While I'm doing so, I feel the temperature drop. Looking behind us, Windseeker is awake. We get out in time for her to destroy the lab with a storm. After that, I don't really remember what happened except the incident being shown on the news.

Oi, I have some gijikas/humanizations of the flat rides I'm working on.

I used to dream about CP often when I didn't go for years, often dreamed about riding the Gatekeeper before I actually rode it. I guess now it's Steel Vengeance cause just had a dream it was open for April and only platinum pass holders can access the park. There weren't many people at all though, just a few random people I've known throughout my life. The ride was certainly nothing how it looks, the lift hill is instant and didn't seem tall at all. I was looking out for the most airtime and I experienced this weird going to the side airtime sensation. Of course I woke up just right before riding on my 4th ride where I sat in the front row.

I admit, that would be kind of neat if SV was open early for April. *readies Platinum Pass* Do you ever just sit back and wonder why dreams are so weird...But again, that's very disconcerting to have it not look the way it does in reality.

I actually had another dream about Cedar Point that is for once on the more reasonable side of things. Okay, some of the stuff here may not happen in real life I dreamed that during winter chill out, they disclosed about the boardwalk. Instead of just doing what they're doing IRL, they're going to get a new coaster and make the lift hill on a part of the boardwalk and the course interacts with the lake and goes by the lighthouse. Near the end of the event, someone announces that there will be a pointbuzz only preview. You know, it was near the back of the park, if you're standing on the beach near windseeker and look to the right you can see some of a pier jutting out...

So yeah, I get ready for the event, and I get to the gate. I can't remember how we got in, showing a badge or a tattoo or something. The current month is late April when this is going on, but it's pretty warm. I go to the lightouse and see the corkscrews of the coaster, and then I come back to ride. So far, everything seems normal with the coaster going up the lift hill and going through all the elements, until we hit the corkscrews. Yep, the coaster actually went underwater. I felt like I was pretty much going to die at that point. Next thing you know, we launch back through the land jutting out of the penninsula at well over 100 mph, roll in the sky, and cross into the neighboring islands, then back to the station. Of course, Coaster Studios was there for reviewing it. Odd.
