Have you ever had dreams about Cedar Point? Lately my dreams involve me going to the park during the off-season to see how the roller coasters look along with looking at the new attraction/rides. Just last night, I dreamed that all of Cedar Point's roller coasters had a theme to them like Universal Studios Islands of Adventure.

I haven't had any dreams about Cedar Point in about a month or so. I can't remember what they were about. But because you started this thread, I went back to the Older Cedar Point Dreams thread and re-read what everyone was dreaming about in 2008 to 2011. That was fun. I hope I start dreaming about Cedar Point again now. :)

See I was trying to find that so I could bring it back, but I couldn't find anything recent. Oh well, now we'll have a new thread to talk about.

I've actually had TONS of dreams of CP, but one of them I remember well.

One of the first and most significant dreams I had about CP was years ago, way before SFMM built their 18th coaster (in 2005-06 when Kingda Ka in New Jersey was new). I dreamt that Six Flags made an exact replica of CP right next to the real CP, but they had one more coaster. It was this butt-ugly black coaster that was built over top of Soak City. It was extremely cloudy, and I stood in the freezing cold wave pool (at Six Flags' replica park) with thousands of other people and looked up at the creepy, black coaster blocking what little sunlight there was. It looked like an awkward RCT3 coaster, with with the track going everywhere (upside down) and there were hundreds of supports going everywhere- in the wave pool (IN the water), on the beach, and by Magnum. Then the "Six Flags-CP replica" employees starting kidnapping CP guests and throwing them into the wave pool where I was...... this was all a dream of corse. ;)

I had a dream where Dick finally retired and a new Disney guy came in, went on Pointbuzz and looked at our wish list for the park and said, "those are great ideas, they'll deffently make the park better". Then our wish list for Cedar Point all came true in one season.

O wait, that really happened :)

Ah, the annual Cedar Point dreams thread. One of the first signs the off-season is is nearing its end. :)

I had one! Finally. Well Kinda.

I dreamed I made a model of Cedar Point, and made changes to most of the rides for Cedar Point to look at to see if they were a good idea.

I added 50ft to Top Thrill Dragster, it has to be taller.
I added a high heart line roll at the top of Maverick's hill after the launch, added mountains in that area, and a drop into the ground through the mountains.
I did something to Wicked twister, but all I remember is people shaking the model saying it would never hold and would break.

There were lots of guest looking at the model, saying "this was impossible"
Then I woke up with a smile on my face. :)

That's it.

I actually had one last night.

So, my friend and I were about to ride Ocean Motion (which is odd considering that I have a fear of Ocean Motion, and this dream makes me even more nervous about it.) My friend and I sat down and the lap bar went down, and the ride started as usual. Then, the boat start to rotate, in a maXair sort of fashion. Then it got faster and higher up, and the opposite end of the boat smashed into one of the supports, but kept swinging. We ended up jumping off of it when it was close to the ground and running to Disaster Transport. The exterior of the building looked the same, but inside it had an ancient-China and ancient-Eygpt theme... Then we got off, and exited the building when some Cedar Point police officers grabbed us and told us we had to go file a report with them about the Ocean Motion accident or something, and then I woke up.

That's funny that Disaster Transport was themed like ancient Eygpt since the actual theming on DT is that old

I had another dream last night....

Basically, I had to design a B & M similar to MF, and right next to it.
It was in the construction phase on the Island. I kinda was riding MF, but I was about 5 feet above the train cars, floating while going around the track.
I added more head choppers, and made it 10ft taller, but the 3rd hill was 300 feet tall, and leaned to the left before the turn around on the island.
It was a rust green color, and I was telling the crane operator's to watch out for all the High Voltage wires in the area.

Then I was in a Mall- looking for old friends from grade school, and I woke up.

It must be getting close to opening day, had another dream last night. A little disturbing though. I wasn't feeling to good last night.

I was a tester on a new Magnum XL200, they tore down the original. It wasn't finished yet, but they needed a rider. As the ride was coming down the second hill, to go into a helix, it derailed from the tracks near the ground. The weird part of the dream was that I felt it start to come off the track, so I stood up, and stepped out of the car onto the ground before the train crashed into the ground. I said I don't recommended opening it until they get that fixed, and continued to walk away from the ride. :)

I was with my kids, and they were like what just happened, I said the trained derailed, and the ride wasn't ready yet, and they are going to fix it.

Then we were elsewhere in the park, my guess is behind the shops by ocean motion, and the 3 point shoot out, and they had showers for kids to cool off under. Then I woke up.

I've had dreams like that before where something like that was bound to happen and I jump from 200 feet without a scratch or even dieing! Since that was a new magnum, was is a B&M hyper train? Those are cool and have lots of airtime. For example Diamondback!

I would be sad if they tore down the orginal Magnum and made a new one.

Had this weird dream on Friday/Saturday morning that Cedar Point opened early just for ACE or GOC members to get a glimpse of what the park looks like now. I was also surprised that they let us ride a few of the rides. One thing that was odd about my dream was Top Thrill Dragster was running with Corkscrew trains. For some reason, the Dragster trains were not ready to be put on the tracks yet so they substituted with Corkscrew trains. I know in real life, this wouldn't work, but that's what makes it a dream.

My friend had a dream once where she was in the park at night, and it was all empty, except her, me, and Dick kinzel, and a few random employees. She and I were pushing DK around in a dumpster on wheels and we kept tipping him over....we were going to eat at a restaurant then she woke up...funniest thing ever.

Most of my dreamed roller coasters are fairly low to the ground--no higher than Corkscrew or Maverick, and usually much shorter.

Wrong park, but my Beast roller coaster I always dream is a one-seater suspended coaster, frequently one that must be cycled to get over the low hills. And it's always in the southwest quadrant of KI, over the Bavarian Beer Garden (Outer Hanks today) lake, which is always must bigger. Bizarre.

Last Friday night, I had this dream that I went to Cedar Point and was riding Iron Dragon. You know, just to ride it to see what Top Thrill Dragster line looked like. What was weird about it was they managed to squeeze in a family ride between C.P. & L.E Railroad, Mantis, Iron Dragon, and Top Thrill Dragster. They had another family ride that went through Top Thrill Dragster, but was only used during Hallo weekends. So has anyone else had a Cedar Point related dream lately?

I'm Back! With another unbelieveable dream.... Unbelieveable because it was about the new 500ft coaster they are buiding in 2014....

The current 2013 project was well underway. Unfortunately it was a flying coaster and not a wing coaster. They were taking out Mean Streak and Gemini to make room for the 500 footer, construction equipment was everywhere.

Then I was back up front watching the new coaster test run, and it had Batman written all over it...

Then I woke up

I believe the Dark Knight Rises would have put a big influence on that one lol. Interesting dream though.

I've had about 8 dreams about Cedar Point in the past 3 months. They included a lot of weird things, like Cedar Point being inside something that looked like a REAAAALLY big garage, and it was like, 1 A.M.....and there was another one where the raptor dropped down so low I could touch the ground with my hand while I swooped upside down(I almost fell off at the beginning....). There was also a time when I dreamed that all of Cedar Point was on something that looked like a really big red and brown ocean motion.
